@165BlackHeart I like bleach a lot but bleach is not better than Naruto. Naruto has an actual story going on that goes on continuously instead of just having a new villain in every arc. There is actual character development in Naruto. Naruto has changed a lot since the show started. Not to mention Bleach is rife with filler and Ichigo is just Goku to all of the characters. One piece is the best anyway.

@djcdude2003 How does bleach not have character development? if it didn't then everyone would be 100% like they were in episode that they were very first seen in. So Bleach has a lot of character development and Ichigo is suppose to be stronger but he isn't a "Goku" to everyone. Yeah sure there are probably flaws here and there but if you noticed Ichgio needs help of his friends to be able to get though the fight.

They could've ended the show after the aizen thing but they didnt because they knew no one expected a real story from them anyway. Everyone pretty much watches it for the fights. All the stupid fillers and the fact that there is nothing going on in the show except for a new villain is what keeps it from being better than Naruto.

@flamethekid I prefer that over someone who can win every fight as soon as it happens, Ichigo trains and and gets stronger and that is something I like about the show because gokus version of training happened while everyone else was dying. I like bleach a lot more than DBZ but it isn't better than naruto.

@staskonstantinov I think everything does. Every story surpasses what it necessarily should have. Although it only overpowered Ichigo for a little while and then he went back to his previous power level (maybe a bit higher but not strong enough to shatter boulders by swinging his sword) so it recovered. Bankai was introduced fairly early so I don't think bankai made them overpowered. And even though dragon ball z jumper the shark it preserved the awesome while doing it.

@blueeyesaf Bleach should have ended when Ichigo rescued Rukia. He did what he came for, gained some power and showed of an awesome fighting scene, back then the word Bankai sent shivers down the spine, all fights happened on the ground giving us real backgrounds and we actually saw blood.

@staskonstantinov Have you seen the thumbnail? It's a picture on Grimmjow, with blood. Bleach was awesome back in those days when he was saving Rukia but it is still awesome. I hate how so many good anime end so quickly and intended to do so from the start. Bleach is one of the good anime that's still making episodes and is still good. You might not like bleach anymore but other people still do so why should we have to give up a show that we like when you could just stop watching it?

2. He was already completely drained from fighting grimjow, so ichigo wasn't full power for the fight with 5th espda.

3. Kenpachi's patch came off early, and he used a new tech when fighting the espda that made him get stronger then just randomly swinging his sword like he was doing with ichigo,

These shows had their awesomeness condensed far more than ongoing anime shows. Not to mention the impact of filler on how you view a show like bleach vs filler on something like death note.

@ichitiger4rukicat I dunno about that. She has the ability to create (if Hachi is anything to go by) nigh-impenetrable barriers, heal any injury, and has, at least on one occasion, raised the dead. And so long as you dont mind spoilers, she now has the power to reflect an opponent's attack back on them. So while her power may not be the best suited for combat, I dont think that its any less amazing.
