This was great. I am finally getting on good terms with my father.
Today when I was buying a book the cashier and I were remarking on how busy they were, and she said it was bc of fathers day. Then she commented "glad I dont have to celebrate it anymore" I had no words, I was stunned. And I felt a little sad for her.
I am glad you enjoyed this.. .it was pretty hard to do, and there were some parts that i wanted to leave in but decided in the end would be best to just let go.
It is my hope that someone will see this, and take away from it a different viewpoint on their own father... maybe help them to mend some fences that need mending. Maybe remind them that all is well, in the end of it all.
