Actually Neville is one of the 2 children in the prophercy. Because people focused too much on HP, Neville is neglected and that kept him safe. And remember, in the very first episode Neville gain the deciding 10pts for Gryffindor because of his bravery. That shows you howpowerfull a writer JKR is.She basically made up the whole story from the beginning. Neville emobdies the very real and eternal truth about life ... you do not have to be the smartest, the fastest, the strongest, the richest, the best looking or the most popular ... it is beleiving in your self, facing your fears and having true courage that really makes a person, GREAT.
