@ThePictureteam Thanks for the question. I used a program called Claymation Studio. It is inexpensive and effective, though I have since started using the free animation enternet download called Monkey Jam which works very well. Also, if you do not use a tripod, don't do animation. There is no way the video will be of good quality if the camera is not well mounted.
@flyingasp I apologize for having said "don't do animation without a tripod." I do not think that one should give up a hobby over this matter, but I did mean that if you want consistantly good quality animation, a tripod is 100% necessary. You currently have none of your animation posted on your channel, so you have nothing with which to back up your correction of me, but regardless, I will politely suggest to all reading that a webcam on carpet will not give consistant results.
im currently working on a claymation video. it will be my first one. so if anyone is interested will you please watch it. reply to me if you are gonna watch it.
hi i am a budding animator and i loved this animation the best part was when he sniffled very smooth could you please help me and tell me how to make my animations better people like you have a job in stop motion.
@EGClanProductions Hello, and thanks for the question. I'm assuming you mean how do we lip sync with stop motion animation. Well, lip sync is never easy, but it is relatively simple. In order to have truly accurate lip sync, you must record the dialogue first. I do this using the free internet download Audacity. I then import the audio file into another free internet download called Papagayo. Please see next comment for the rest of the explanation.
@EGClanProductions Okay, now I can finish the explanation. So, after you import the audio file into Papagayo, you select how many frames per second your animation is, and then the program breaks up the soundtrack into the same amount. Then, you can figure out precisely what frame you need to move the character's mouth to make the sound you need. The program is truly revolutionary when you consider that originally, someone had to physically write the sound made on the audio recording tape.
i am trying to make animations using monkey jam too, but i don't know how to get the monkey jam files onto windows movie maker. could u explain 2 me how u do that?
@1715jm ok, you do like this. First you ´do the video and then you save it. Then export the video and save it where you want it. To export it you click on "file" and then "export avi"
@NFvideos101 Thanks for the question! This video runs at 12 fps. I used Claymation Studio 2.0. On my other videos, I use Monkey Jam at 15 fps. However, 12 will get good enough results. (The original Wallace and Gromit shorts was animated using "twos," or 12 fps, so it is really adequate for animation purposes.)
@cattly721 Thanks for the question. I first upload all of my Monkey Jam animations to a video editing software program (currently I am confined to Windows Movie Maker). Then, I save this as a video file which I then upload to You Tube, and have had no problems there. The only problem I sometimes run into is that when I upload the Monkey Jam file to Windows Movie Maker, the video sometimes blurs.
hi there, please check out my channel!... I am trying to make original videos and I really want the support of all you guys for keep doing my best... and if you like it... please suscribe!
Not bad but if you want to make it better have the orange explode and the apple in the background telling the orange he needs to grow up and stop wallowing in self pity. That is just my thoughts though. O this is Chris Cambre by the way.
This is so cute and amazing and funny! I love it! You're amazing and Iove the joke, 'the apple hurt my peelings'! HAHAHA! Immense coolness!
