  • I have a brain injury. The hardest part for me, is I look fine even though I'm falling apart inside. Brain injuries are so difficult because they are an invisible disability. I look fine; even when I'm so confused & don't know which end is up.

  • @shannonlaviolette I had a TBI 25 years ago. I only recently recognized it as the root cause of much of my problems in life since it happened. My general family physician has not been helpful with it. Getting an MRI was like pulling teeth. Now I am told that had I been treated for it at the onset I could even have been receiving disabilities for these 25 years due to the severity of the damage to my frontal lobes. It has been VERY deleterious to my life. I hope that is now changing.

  • thanks for trying to help people with tbi!!!

  • Thank you for this video... Bravo! When I express these symptoms to my doctors they just give me a blank stare and don't really address my concerns. Thanks again.

  • Thank you for your kind words. While we fully understand the blank stares from both the medical community and the rest of the world, it helps to show people. Hopefully this short video will reach so many friends and family members to help them understand.

  • Great video. This is a very misunderstood medical condition. Many people will benefit from your book - individuals suffering the condition and caregivers alike.
