The issue with any musician is STYLE. All of the major drummers from Chicago are RIDICULOUS!! Between Calvin, Rex, Spanky, and Khari its hard to pick who's the best unless you break down TECHNIQUE, STYLE, AND CREATIVITY into separate categories and then judge each one. PERSONALLY, I'm a Rex Fan but I love Calvin's playing to.

@lilvicfirth Spanky isnt off beat man... A lot of people perceive his style to be almost alien like because its like "where did you get that from?" Thats what makes him the best. He's an innovator and nobody sounds like him. And BTW, this pocket thing is completely new to Calvin Rodgers because he's been in the studio the past 5 years. Back in 2000, this guy used every lick he knew in every song. Lol Check out the Not Guilty album.
