Don't get a DX6I. Its garbage. I have one that I use with two electric helicopters. Its been unreliable with its programing where I had to bring it to my hobby store twice. I have had it for a year and a half. Its at my local hobby shop now because I can control all the servo's on each heli properly but the esc on each heli won't work. Two different esc one a 25 amp eflite and one a HV85 castle.
@backtosleep Huh? Your ESCs don't work? Really, Dx6i are very reliable. i have 2 and never had an issue. The only thing I remeber is that Spektrum had a recall about 2 years ago but that was all free repair. Maybe the programming wasn't done properly or maybe the receiver portion is messed up.
@sentro21 Well as soon as I bought a Futaba 8FG and installed it both esc's worked perfectly. I do not agree that Dx6I are reliable. They have had more recalls then any other company.

I do not recomend Dx6i, I did lost a lot of money before dicovered the receiver failure.

@happyhouse152 well if its a DX*6*i, then yes, it has 6 channel. the aircraft can have up to 6 channels.
