  • this was the best intro ever

still stuck in my head a decade later

  • Ahh....those were the days. I miss going to tapings of the show. And yes I know it's on again but I live in Brisbane now!

  • Mike Tinsley.......lead singer of "ITS GOOD NEWS WEEK" will be on Youtube soon with his new song "My Survival"

  • I hope the original Hedgehoppers Anonymous will be receiving royalties for their performance.....between 1996-2000

  • Wow. I've never seen the old opening credits. Paul's cover of the song suits the show so much more.

  • Yay, not only is it back: but the intro song is now Paul's own version, no longer using the original tune! So cAtchy!i!

  • It's a compromise of sorts for Paul, since the format of the show doesn't allow for musical acts to appear...unless the delightful Mark Trevorrow makes an appearance, then they'll have to "bend the rules" ;-)

  • Mark Trevorrow? Pray tell! Some are too young to remember all the names...

  • Did you ever watch 'GNW Nightlite'? He was the one that would do "impromptu" duets with Paul, right in the middle of the game, putting the whole show on hold with their "flights of fancy".

He's also better known by his ultra-camp alter-ego, Bob Downe, although it's hard to tell where 'Bob' ends and 'Mark' begins sometimes. Mark, I believe, is an ABC radio presenter at the moment.

  • @JermirCaesar so it is Paul singing!!!!!!!!! I knew it!!

  • @FallingDownDeep Same here!

  • i miss this show, mcdermot is the devil

  • ITS COMING BACK FEBRUARY 2008. WOOOO =]

mcdermott- def in it, not sure about everyone else.
