I was asking the same question to myself. I think it's a marketing strategy of these mega money monsters in the computer world. Why don't they just better the drivers for the laptop web cams? It's cheaper for the consumer world, but that's the whole point about all this: MONEY, MONEY, MONEY...............
I would have to agree with you that "APPLE" will probably be the first at putting in HDTV webcams build in their computers. I think that could happen later this year or next year. Do you think 3D would ever happen? I mean they have a new 3D like television by SONY. I have been to the featuring area of a SONY to pre-experience it. I wished it was like a teleport hologram like they had in space movies. Maybe that will happen for us =]
@SUPERMOMMALICIOUS I could see 3D webcams in laptops within 10 to 15 years from now !!! However I wish HD webcams would be available in laptops sooner lol, That would be super cool :)
