  • Will this modification work on the Hobie Mirage Outback (also has sail in front)? Seems to me that it would. Once I dig it out of storage, I'll have a much better idea!

  • Nice job on setting up that roller furling. Good to see that you have stabilizers.

    A tip in case you haven't learned it yet: If at least one of the "Tell-Tales" (the black things hanging down on the side of the sail) is being held straight back by the wind, then your sail is set correctly in relation to the wind and you're at your top speed for that direction in that amount of wind..

    This does not apply if the wind is behind you.

    GOD bless your learning to sail. I don't believe in luck.

    I like that system for your sail I got to try that next time . Now it will make trolling for you a kick back day on the water like me trolling for halibut in the San Francisco Bay.
