Gary Numan was so much more melodic back then. Now it's the NIN template he uses. From Exile onwards has been extremely bland for me ( Droning intro, Whispered verse, Loud Chorus etc ). You can't please everyone all the time, and I adore Gary Numan and his music. Just wish he makes enough money to go and make Gary Numan music that is ahead of the pack, not running with the Industrial bands.
