Spore: Nest in the water glitch

lol this happened to me so i made a mermaid thingy XD it was mermaidilla but i kept starving its sooooooooo stupid! it was annoying... but if u see an island with only a large tree-ish thing its the only land u can go on... cool right?

That happened to me! I had a nest in the water so I tried to go on land but everytime I did I would get eaten by that sea monster.

It's a glitch! It's not supposed to happen and it's very bad cause all the stuff is on land and if you can't go on land you can't do anything!

Did you ever find a way around this? Every planet I start has this glitch. No one else seems to have had this problem recently either.

It probably was. I'm not entirely sure, I uninstalled Spore as of late along with deleting the save files.

The only thing you can do is to destroy the planet and start your creation again on another world.

Make sure you've got the latest update.

lol if it replaces the water with land does that mean the vreatures are on the water (the noc ones) if so id enjoy that glitch

Unfortunately only my creatures are on the water, I'm not entirely too sure if it's possible to have NPC creatures in the water with you.

It's not really enjoyable, all the food is still on land, so if you're a hebivore, you're stuffed. You can't go on land to eat the other tribes because of the water monster.

The same thing happened with me, though some NPCs are in water, also. It really stinks! Does anyone know any "cure" for it?

The only cure is to destroy the planet and start on a new one. I'd update your software while you're at it.

I had a nest on an island and this monster kept popping up through the dunes like that and eating me whenever I flew off it. So I tried to move up to tribal, had been just fooling round long after I was ready to, and got a glitched movie which repeated endlessly.

Hadn't saved, Game over.

Did you do the same thing I did? Or did you go through the plankton stage and have it happen to you?

Just remove the world and go to another world with your creature, fixes the problem for the moment :P
