  • hi , my name is walter and i live in Miami FL. and i would like to ask you 2 questions:

    1. would be possible to get the trans top roof system in USA?

    2. could you pls tell me from where, or it gotta be from out side?

pls i need your help, if you dont mind . i will appreciate ... tahx a lot....

  • hi

  • del sols are so gay. specially this one

  • It's like missile launcher for 007 ! Great cinematic for the roof

  • a del sol crx ? a crx its not a del sol wtf?

  • gay try a car with a little more power my wife rides a gsxr 600. del slo are for people like ryan seacrest

  • Are those 18 inch rims? It looks lowered also... Im just wondering cause I have 18's on the way for my sol and am wondering about any problems you encountered with clearance

  • the guys just looking at the camera the whole time like "yeah you wish you had this." which we do

  • arnt these rare as fuck?

  • hey man i recently bought a 92 DelSol and i dont know how to open the roof. The pervious owner doesn't know as well. Would you be able to tell me how?

  • @ChromeBerry you have to unlock both clips on the top side, that can be locked with the key or not.. then you push on the clip and pull le lever to the center of the car, after that if you have the transtop or not yo uhave to remove it by yourself, or only put the hand brake and hold the top button on the side of the gauge cluster

  • Then does your drivers seat go up with you in it?

  • can someone tell me where can i get the same sistem for my car and how much is it

  • how is it a crx del sol?? i dont get it i thought crx and del sol are different car?

  • in australia and some other place, delsol are still called honda crx delsol and not honda delsol as america does.

  • @mcleod22 lolol wtf hahaha

  • @shifter510 you wouldnt laught if you know your honda stuff :P

  • @shifter510 and in the uk its called a CIVIC LOL

  • @TCreatorO CRX -> Civic Renaissance [Model] X

  • i like that blue whats the shade of that blue

  • sta si ti neki frajer a?

  • to crxdelsolsir

the transtop was actually notorious and not even available in the US because of how it affects the structural integrity of the vehicle

  • that is the STUPIDIST SHIT EVER!

  • which del sols have an electric roof?

    all esi?

  • that was a fucking expensive option from honda, so not much was transtop ! and every model could come with it.

  • id rather take my targa top off my self its faster on my 1995 del sol

  • That option work while rolling?

  • @Norbeaelis

Due to the safety features built in a rolling conversion is not allowed.

I prefer it this way actually since there has been several incidences of roofs catching on to things and wind misalligning them etc.

Besides, its classier doing it standing still and showing every passerby the transformation.

  • dude thats ku nd all but that shit took forever....

  • It's faster than manually doing it. Do some research. And learn to spell.

  • @Thevtechonda

Its not just removing the roof but how its removed.

I have one and it attracts more attention than any folding roof (which everyone else has).

Besides it took long because of the safety features and contributes to the long wearing of the motors on these things.

More than 18 years later its still going! More than a rag top (which needs a new roof every 5 years) or a modern hard top (that has sensors and servo problems).

  • @crxdelsolsir yeah you got a point its just that im not really usto seeing that... acctually pretty cool

  • hmm its optional on an sir but they dont have alot of those here in america.

  • @inFlicTed009

It was not an option offered in US, or even Australia or Canada. It was only in Japan and Europe.

Sir by the way is the engine option, the roof is still an option even if you get the Sir Engine.

I have seen Sir's without the electric roof. And have seen non Sir's with the electric roof.

  • that is just LAZY!!! but it looks badass lol

  • not lazy at all... avoid you stop the car when you want to take of the roof... if it stoped im agree with you its lazy.. but the function is to avoid you stoping ....

  • even if your stopped it looks like a transformer which is sick as fuck

  • @tommyjones1978

    Not Lazy but rather Convenience.

Why else would they have powered rag tops and powered hard top convertibles for sale if people prefer pulling them back by hand.

Its also for safety so you can just pull over and operate the roof from seating position (still protected by the door) and not have to step outside the car where you are more succeptible to being hit ( while getting out) or attacked by a passerby (whilst preoccupied with the roof and your back turned around).

  • do that while you're driving.... I wanna see :)

  • is it on every crx del sol?

  • no! it's an option.

  • some are manual

  • So wait, that's a stock option? I always thought that was a custom design. Wish my Del Sol had it.

  • cool!

  • COOL!! i would love to get one of these.=)
