as soon as you've got lvl 3 of any gun, you can't upgrade the weapon anymore... instead of an upgrade to lvl 4, you buy ammo for the same price as the upgrade to lvl 3 :P

The first thing you should buy is the shotgun, and the second is the shotgun upgrade, always make sure you have enough to buy health though. ALWAYS BUY HEALTH 1ST!

Check out the tip i gave Pointlesshumor and also...if your life bar is only down a little dont waste money refiling it. When you use the shot gun try to get as close as possible so its one shot one kill.
