@TheAndreykashubsky Literally, to push the door open or to push it to keep it closed.
Metaphorically, it is a variation on the "to put the shoulder to the wheel" - meaning to make a conscious effort, to work hard.
In the context of the song it probably means something like you can't just let everything "slide" all the time, sometimes you must consciously make an effort to stop it.

I gave it some thought and came to the following - it means to break the door by force, i.e. to forcefully intervene. In the song context it means to invade a country by force

one of my favorite MK songs... although most of his songs qualify! I have a question, though- Anyone know why 'ambulance'? I mean, I get the basic meaning of the song... but why- ambulance? Where does that word come from?
