do you need a drivers lincence to drive one of these go cars its never been explained. I mean your on public roads so you must need a drivers licence if your going to be using one of these go cars?

@tich302001 yes you need a normal car or motorcycle drivers license and in Europe if you don´t have an EU license you should have an international one or a simple translation.

I did it and afterwards my abs hurt from laughing so hard. It even has a cute little horn to tell other big fat SUVs that you are still there. P.S. we named the goCar "Chrissy"....and Chrissy isn't allowed on the freeway. ha ha

We did not think that we would have a good time on these. We went anyway and had a blast... The car is your own personal tour guide and just like the guy at the couter said we would meet two types of people: the ones that know what the cars are and avoided us (they were very kind), and the ones who did not know what the cars were and we had a lot of pictures taken of us. We will do it again when we get back to S.F. Heck we are planing a trip to San Diego and we are going to give them a try.

I used to drive one just like it back in the 60's it was called a Izeta (not sure of spelling) although mine didn't talk to me, it had same frame and motor type.

I did this in San Francisco. Best thing I did while I was there. Fantastic. Much better than a tour bus!.
