Town Hall meetings are NOT debates.
They're fluff formats, Meet & Greets, and give you absolutely no valuable information about a candidate.
I'm disheartened by how "low information voters" have usurped the election process. You guys have so dumbed-down America, and are responsible for Republicans being able to suck the US Treasury dry with these bogus wars, which haven't made us any safer.
Please, stop it! You shouldn't even be voting much less controlling the discourse.

Welfare should only be given to those who 'work' to improve thier own communities yet when New York tried this, those recieving government checks claimed slavery. This appalled me because I view that beautifying your neighborgood to recieve a check might add pride to oneself and surroundings. As far as the war in Iraq...it might turn out okay.

Obama's objections to the Iraq war are irrelevant. He can claim he opposed it all he wants, but one little fact he leaves out: he wasn't in the US Senate when they took the vote! So any opposition he has or had doesn't matter!
Besides, we've won the surge.

How about you quit thinking of yourself and think of others? Can't do that? Are you that selfish and into yourself? It's called compassion and giving a rat's ass about other people's happiness and it's also about realizing that no one is better OR LESS THAN YOU. Once you fuck off and die do you think the world will stop turning? No, so get over yourself and think of the greater good.
