My younger brother spent a month in Waterville, Maine last year. We're planning on going back very soon and we'll make sure to stop at Great Lost Bear!

Was it very busy? Do they have live entertainment on selected nights?

It's busy at times, but we've never seen it crowded to the point of uncomfortable. It's usually easy to get a seat at the bar.

They do have events and entertainment. Check their website for specifics. Great place!

And trust us, it was the same way for us. Shooting in Maine was a glorious couple of days, but I needed some recovery time for my liver!

Its getting harder to find the old bars here. I just heard today another one of our favorite haunts is up for sale.

We're fighting that trend with everything we can muster. The great old bars are that way for a reason.
