  • This is very well done and deserves to be better known. I'd never heard it before. I've heard some songs a thousand plus times on the radio. Yet there are little gems like this hidden away. Thankfully, it looks as though the internet is letting us escape playlist hell. Hopefully, the days of good songs and good singers will come back when we take the music back into our hands. Lennie has a good voice, we know, but I always felt Dianne harmonised nicely, just enough and no more.

  • Lennie used to do the rounds in the pubs in the east end of london, then he was known as blind lennie, and sung a lot in the Lion and Key in leyton, my Uncle used to take him around, and being a jeweller made all his jewelery for him

  • @Johnny and Melisa assholes both of you. gonna be spiteful dont post.

  • Lennie

    Respect

    Mike leroy

  • i read about his daughter being murdered very sad that was it was in take a break mag

  • what a horrid start in life lennie had, imagine losing your sight in 1 eye aged 5,and then the other when your sixteen, a proud upstanding man,i have nothing but the greatest respect for him

  • This sure brings back memories! I'm from Midland, Ontario, Canada and my oldest sister went to England back in 1973 or 1974 to visit our grandmother and step-grandfather. Well, when she came back, she had with her a Peters and Lee album (of course I had never heard of them, as I don't think they were played on the radio over here) - We Can Make It. She played it and I listened and really liked it (I was about 10 or 11 at the time). Really like the song, Never My Love. Is there a CD version?

  • I have several videos of them singing this song in 1978. Anyone interested I have loaded a 40th anniversary peters and lee site on facebook.

  • thankyou very good.
