no offence but a real anorexic never needs a buddy to keep motivated or to achieve her goals. Anorexia isnt about friends its about slowly killing yourself as you become more and more isolated. Only wannarexics need a buddy, anorexics have ana in their head and she controls everything and is all the inspiration you need

What do you mean 'you dont have to kill yourself' ? If you have anorexia you are commiting the slowest form of suicide. Only 'recovery' can save you from dying, it kills more people than any other mental illness. Its so conflicting though beecause no matter how many times I say that and no matter how dangerous it is, I know I would still never give it up willingly. I couldnt bear to be any fatter

I'm not really pro ana. I think she has taken over my mind even though I am too big to be anorexic. I don't approve of people using my videos to get an ed. I just make them and put them up because they help me cope, and I thought they might help others cope.

I can't really say I agree with you here. If you have ana in your head then that means you have an ED, whether or not you choose to have a buddie. I guess that's just my opinion

Oh no I agree that you can have anorexia and choose to have a buddy who also has anorexia, but it was they way she said she needed an ana-buddy. I dont think anorexicx ever need a buddy because the voice in your head is the buddy. Although I agree that having someone who knows and understands what you are going through can help it be less isolating. But in the end thats my view and opinion, no one can say its wrong it is just my experience of anorexia.

I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm not saying she was wrong either and tbh I'm glad this is a place where we can voice our opinions and not be told "just eat" "eat healthily" or "you're just too lazy to exercise". I think it's good to have someone who understand what you're going through too. I hope you can recover, you obviously know how much of a struggle this disease is xx
