@777fsx200 Best to sit on the right because 99 times out of 100 you'll approach from the east, which means you'll have a view of Downtown, the Hollywood hills, and the Hollywood sign (smog permitting).

@777fsx200 For me, the right side because you can see the downtown skyscrapers in the distance. Most approaches into LAX come in from the east so one comes in over the expanse of the city and environs. Even flights from Asia tend to arrive with this approach.
