  • Who are the police protecting?

  • We protested in the streets of Central America in the 70s for better conditions in our schools (we were only HS teens) We were repelled with real live bullets. We knew the risks and the danger but somehow also knew it was our duty to speak out so others after us would have better opportunities. I believe things haven't gotten much better for them after so many years but some change came nonetheless and for the better. We can all look back and see we made things a bit better. It was all worth it.

  • "Shame on You" Sounds like something protesters from a retirement home would chant. Where is the tear gas at when you need it.

  • Please...the police "attacked the people"? Really? Looks like the police were trying to establish order and safety but the protesters kept resisting. I would love for the media to show this on TV - it would show how ridiculous the protesters were. "We're not violent, how about you"? Ha...yeah...keep thinking that...

  • @DATT10

You weren't there. It may 'look' like something different to you, but it felt like an attack. Those batons are not soft, just so you know. And a fat ass cop is a lot heavier than a lot of ppl so with that much force, it hurts.

ps-have you seen the pepper spray video from UC Davis? Explain how that isn't attacking ppl. The guy walks up and down the line and keeps spraying over and over again, as the kids (students! at their own fucking school) huddle together to block it.

  • its called weak pricks in numbers. if there were and even number of protesters as police. protesters would hit there pants and run away

  • I didn't see an attack there....looked like some dumb dickheads were trying to push right through the cops so the cops stopped them. I'm actually all about protesting, but how can you not expect to get hit in the face with a night stick when you start shoving cops?

  • "We're not violent. How about you?" Love it! We need "law enforcement" on the side of the people! Posse Comitatus, Bill of Rights anyone? "As nightfall does not come all at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there is a twilight when everything remains seemingly unchanged. And it is in such a twilight that we all must be most aware of change in the air-however-slight-lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness." Justice William O. Douglas

  • PS cameras don't intimidate the police. You d bags and loud mouth sluts

  • i cant beleive that anyone is for the students here. cops are securing a STATE institution? no way!? "those animals" "pigs".... FUCK THAT beat the idiots down if they choose to be that stupid!

  • UC fee hikes - more taxes to compensate for CA budget deficit caused by UNIONs catering to ILLEGAL aliens at the detriment of the private sector.

  • @RareJadeForest06 Well I'm sorry that you don't agree with my opinion but my friend is a UC Berkeley cop and all the protests costs the police to stay 7 hours late not to mention money. and yes, that fact is true. I do agree that the university does need some improvements but that is no excuse to hurt Cal.

    P.S. go bears :)

  • fucking pigs

  • I don't understand why people protest about the city's $ probs, but protesting costs more $ and more stress! This is so messed up

  • @futurefunvideos If you don't understand, just don't say anything. I go to UC Berkeley and I feel like I am in hell everyday because I worry and stress every minute about how the hell I am going to pay 50,000 grand a year on top of other shit Berkeley throws at me. Just to let you know, due to the protest, 199M dollars were restored to Berkeley last year. Before you state anything, get your facts straight and put yourself in other people's shoes before you state something you don't know

  • Ok! They try to put a handle on the situation. There has to be some control or I think the crowd would have maybe tried to break property on school grounds. I think its like this the cops gave verbal commands to get back people didn't want to move so the next step in usage of force would be to push and shove back. This provoke people and this is why things happen like this. No excessive force here. Just students getting rowdy and a situation being controled

  • Comment removed

  • why do people do this to each other?

  • look theres my uncle fight with the police damn adrian

  • These people will protest a rise in the cost of education, but won't speak out against the murder of innocents by the government. Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Pakistan, Iran and Somalia - just some of the spreading illegal wars that this government is pursuing in the name of American Democracy. SHAME ON YOU!

  • time to organize and use violence against violence, fucking nazi scum.

  • hahhaa all the women screaming stop hahaahahahahaha

  • This is why I said fuck UC.

I am a "lib-tard" and find this rediculous. We have hit hard economic times where we are bailing our multi-billion dollar corporations from keeping our country from collapsing. The UC system is hurting. BADLY. The money to support its rediculous endowments needs to come from somewhere. How can a student be so ignorant and self-absorbed as to act like this because the system thats providing their education is trying to stay afloat? Absolutely outrageous.

  • @chreveir UC is corporatized anyways. Massive tuitions anyways to subsidize mass research programs (which are beneficial, don't get me wrong). Take the students, take their money, pump em through the system, get the research funding needed, repeat. UC has lost all sight of what a University at heart is supposed to be.

    Machine...a totall machine...

  • Sometimes violence is necessary. Not only that, it's usually the law enforcement in various protest cases around the world that incite violence in the first place. Peaceful protesting usually does not get the point across. These UC Berkeley students are standing up for the rights of students around this country because California is already broke as hell, and it's only a matter of time before other states greatly increase tuition hikes around this country.

  • I wonder how many people commenting here on youtube actually have a decent college or university degree or education. Students at UC Berkeley have to be top rank in high schools across the country and world. Granted the ones that protest mostly don't have a clue to what's going on, at least they are exercising their opinion. Unlike all of these youtubers who just follow whatever the government says as true. The government is taking away most of the citizen's liberties.

  • Stupid stereotyping of university students as liberal morons. Viewers have to realize that it was this type of protesting that lead to the changes that occurred during the 1960's. If protests like this did not happen, then what the hell is Freedom of Speech useful for? This is a light protest, but real protests are where police in the United States break open peoples' heads. They are fighting against the rise of tuition in California, which in turn will affect the rest of the country.

  • Gee, if they would stay behind the designated line and not shove the police they wouldn't get hit...too damn hard for stupid retarded Berkley students to figure out I guess

  • 4 easy steps to protesters.

    1) Read the "Riot Act" to the crowd. Wait 5 minutes.

    2) "Liberal" (lol) use of Mace. Wait 5 more minutes.

    3) Detain and Arrest crying, puking former protesters left behind when crowd ran off.

    4) Rinse and repeat as needed.

  • i love hearing hippies cry

  • they need to go to class , bunch of stupid hippies. These retards would protest a protest. No wonder California is broke....

  • I cant beleive they never showed this on tv!!! this is police brutality!!! as a fellow college student im with you.

  • Ahh These Kids need to take a lesson from the Bolsheviks on how to protest LOL LOL

  • These cops are WOMO's - Weapons of Mass Oppression

  • Attention students of Berkeley... you are fucking retarded.

  • I'm glad they attacked the students. Most College students are fucking worthles morons, especially those cunts from berkley.

  • fuckin pigs

  • I don't seem to understand why people are confused about the students protesting. If the students worked as hard as they did in high school to be accepted at Berkeley (which is not easy), they should get the right to the education they wanted at the price they believed they were going to pay for all four years. If they had the money to pay, they wouldn't be protesting. Besides, getting an education isn't a bad thing and just because they want one doesn't make it wrong.

  • I love how you have a range you can be at to protest, gotta love the rights America gives its people.

  • This seems like a silly reason to be protesting. Compaired to everything else going on in the country....

  • @WealthyPeon america started the revolutionary war cuz they were sick of british taxes. it's always about the money, always will be

  • Congratulations You've just called someone on the internet a moron, Your the smartest person in the world on everything. Please understand that your tuition hike doesn't affect the fact that the people protesting are resisting (putting up resistance) towards the police force. Honestly, what will it matter when you've graduated and have to deal with the issues in the real world. Pay the tuition, or quit school. It's really just that easy, but violently opposing the police is poor character.

  • what happened to the times where students would throw molotov cocktails at the police.... fucking country is soft

  • @OFChughes: What's the point of lowering oneself to acts of violence? It doesn't help anything.

  • THE ONLY GOOD PIG IS A DEAD PIG

  • Seriously?! These students don't have anything better to do at a school that their paying more tuition to go to? What about classes or jobs? They really don't have anything better than to try and oppose a police force who is suited up in riot gear? They need to get their priorities straight.

  • ya all they want is money so they can party for four years and get out and think there smart . college pukes

  • STOOOOPP!

  • sucks to be in the front! I'd rather be one of them who are pushing them in the back into the officers.

  • The most beautiful sculpture is a paving stone thrown at a cops head.

    (May 68)

  • You must bear a chaos inside you to give birth to a dancing star.

    (Nietzsche)

  • So... Their parents put them in school with their own money, and these kids use it like this? Spoiled and narcissistic.

  • This doesn't cost any money. It's called acting upon something you contradict. Not at all narcissistic

  • @MrAmericanAce Do you know what these students are protesting about?

  • why students arent fighting back...thats brutality students are superior they woud easily beat the shit out of the cops

  • apparently those pigs are paid to be violent!

  • fucking hell, fuck nonviolent, time to combat batons with batons

  • Haha! You stupid Obama youth deserve this. What did you think? Did you think that a bunch of democrat run schools full of democrat professors in Big Unions would take a pay cut? LMAO. I love it when wide-eyed la-la land Obamabot youth get wake up calls to the real world. Maybe you dumbass punk kids should stop voting for democrats, and start electing fiscal conservatives. Big Unions will NEVER give up salaries, and you will ALWAYS pay those salaires! Dumbasses

  • Sick fucking brainwashed cops.

    This is only the beginning.

  • Lets see, get in a shoving match with a cop who just asked you to move back a few inches so he could set up a fence. Then shove on the fence. Genius. Berkeley idiots just trying to provoke the cops and catch it on camera. FAIL. Good work cops.

  • @supermikeb2000

    100% agree.

  • @supermikeb2000 Your right. The situation has to be in control. I'm a college student too and it not only affects me too, but not listening to a simple command to back up so a barricade can be set up so police can have a handle on the sitation so things wont be out of control

  • the basij

  • These students are narcissistic and spoiled.

    Good work by the police.

  • Cops attacking students my ass.

  • Full support for the students. Free education kindergarten to end of college, paid for by my taxes. I want my taxes to go to education.

Policemen, your children need an education also.

  • Solidarity from Greece,

our mafia-run governments aim to cancel free education and university immunity.

Everyone wishing for a stable society should fight for these rights.

    Free education accessible by everyone

    Free research, detached from corporations

  • cops are just doing their jobs

students are trying to get a word a cross

    sucks when conflicting ideals cross

  • FUCK THE POLICE

  • Why doesnt the media put this stuff on there news stations?

  • I wish I still went to school.

  • Haha now all you libtards get a taste of your wasteful socalist spending.

You know why there isn't money to get your "free" education? Because it went to pay that useless crack addict down the street for having a 5th child.

  • @PreparedCitizen

    And you're probably against abortion

  • Student protestors are the worst kind. They think they know everything because of their "education", which is only theory. Welcome to real life.

  • Universities are no different than any profit-seeking firms. Sometimes, I really consider go to school might be the worst investment I have ever invested in my life. By spending so much money on my undergrad degree, I still can't find a good job since most jobs requires experiences. Higher level education such as master or Phd are even worse, besides paying money, you also need to do free research for professors to come up with thesis paper and be able to graduate (if they let u pass).

  • young college people getting there first lesson in life. the world does not run on sweet nice people the world is hard unforgiveing world and then it is great wonderful times and happenings

  • @teacherphysics Very true, but they are students of UC Berkeley, a school with a history already rich with student run demonstrations, I am sure they know what to expect. In my opinion, this active student body, instead of the school's high ratings, is what makes Berkeley stand out above all others.

  • the students arent the same as back in its history.

  • REMEMBER KENT STATE!!! Where's the National Guard when you need them?

Whoever was yelling SHAME ON YOU is SCREAMING FAGGOT. Was the coughing near the end a cumshot down the wrong pipe?

  • Non violence is overrated.

  • Lol so says the irishman

  • I miss Berkeley since moving to Tokyo a couple of years ago. I just made a tribute to my hometown using images from Google Earth. Visit my channel to see it!

  • what a worthless contribution. It's all about you

  • one of your comrades is getting f'ed up and you boo?

ONE cop is assaulting half a dozen students for no good reason and no one grabs him and drags him into the crowd for a talk?

no one talks to the other cops as why they're masturbating while an actual felony is taking place behind them?

No one takes out a gun and fires into the air to give these idiots some perspective?

    God damn sheep.

  • This is incredible!.. Fascist pigs think they own you. And they do. Is this the proud American youth? Shame on you, too. "Boo!" - what a joke.

  • been going on for years and years and years were you been playing with your toys

  • Kent State where are you

  • Fucking hippy dogs. Kill em all.

  • Don't bite the hand that feeds you!!!!! Just like a pig in the wild.

  • ...wow Berkeley is still Berkeley! That's so cool, I can't wait till I get there...

  • Talking is pointless in these situations.

Go for higher actions. Otherwise, you are wasting your time. Fight or be silent.

  • @Tovarichtch If by Higher actions you mean battle and bloodshed, you have missed the point of the student protests and you have no knowledge of what Those kind of actions lead to.

  • College is like healthcare. It should be available to everybody regardless of their financial situation. I was fortunate enough to have my college paid for by my family. Not everyone has that luxury. Don't make college a privilege that only the wealthy can enjoy.

  • Havn't you seen the failure of your utopian views? Government is inefficient - it just doesn't fucking work. This video is proof.

  • Its the skin heads masquerading as cops who are the problem. government works everywhere else on earth except in your pest hole of a country, don't make blanket statements that equate me with your useless ass.

  • bull shit

  • i know sometimes they get on my nerves~ seriously i am minority and i am poor but ....i know making a fool of yourself will do nothing beneficial~

  • Those fucking pigs. I would have pepper sprayed that cop with the baton in self defense. Fucking assholes.

  • How much does anyone wanna bet that they would push the gates instead of just standing there? They provoke the police to use the force.

  • i agree with you.

  • Who is the Jerk beating people with the Baton?. I really hope someone got his Badge number and that they Sue the SOB for excessive force! Shades of the Nixon era! Jerks!!!!!!

The damn thing is.. NO ONE is being violent except the cops! I vote for an "instant replay" and find this Neo-Nazi & Fire his ass!

  • This is what a police state looks like. No Truth No Peace.

Weed is not evil and we know you stole our money

  • Remember the cops are facing budget cuts too!

We need to look at the big picture

fund schools and education, not wars !!

  • health insurance is a right to legal americans born of legal parents

  • i dont get why ppl give u low ratings. I totally agree with you.

if you are not legal then ....i know to most ppl i sound like a jerk but....i am not wealth or anything and am minoritty myself but i hate the hippie who asks for everything but gives NOTHING!

  • the majority of people in here are idiots and that will be the way for ever

  • The UC system is filled with vile scum - from the regents and the chancellors to the thugs called police. Mad love to the UC students standing up and fighting back!

  • typical, violent and disproportionate response, i imagine we'll be seeing more of this in the US with the gap between rich and poor increasing, more job insecurity, lowering of wages etc etc

  • Comment removed

  • I think youre mad for the wrong reason.

You shouldnt be mad theyre protesting you should be mad WHY theyre protesting.

All of it IS THEIR FAULT and theyhave the balls to protest it.

They vote the Californian idiots in every year and yet still have the balls to complain about it.

    RETARDED!

  • Berkeley students used to protest in favor of free speech. Then they began protesting in favor of stifling politically incorrect speech that they disagree with (stopping and/or disrupting talks on campus by conservatives). Now they're just protesting student fees? Clint Eastwood is right: todays' generation is no more than a bunch of teenage twits.

  • Just what exactly do YOU expect to accomplish by spewing your bile in the form of an uninformed opinion all over a youtube comments page? And wow, using a quip purportedly made Clint to bolster your point is just simply priceless. Finally, even if "today's generation," as you put it, was in fact "a bunch of teenage twits," whose fault is that? The irresponsible generations that preceded them for not raising morally upstanding offspring, thats who. Don't blame the children, blame the parents.

  • Its Democracy In Action:

A potentially out of control mob, controlled by a a line of police with little sticks. The police are heavily armed, and in another country, could shoot into the mob; instead, its little sticks.

Be grateful what we still have in this country. Its worth preserving.

  • lame

  • It seems from the video that the students began getting more aggressive. It also seems the police took great care not to hit them in the head. What did you expect them to do? Seems they handled a difficult situation with relative restraint.

  • I find a lot of the comments here not very informative. There seem to be a lot of "compared to other places" comments. Since when does comparison justify anything? If the state is broke, do you think all of its citizens are much better? A tuition hike might mean the difference between some of them going to school. Getting indignant and saying the students had it coming or should just get a job is not the smartest of answers.

  • stupid hippie students, they deserved to get beat.

  • maybe if you wouldnt push against polilce lines you wouldnt get pushed back, you can see the guy in the white jacket pushing or hitting the police at 1:08

  • Pretty much what the students wanted.

You can protest till you turn blue, but if you protest ON CAMERA while being hit by the police, you have civil simpathy. That's the way to go.

  • Can't judge too harshly, these are self-adsorbed kids who are't matured Elsewhere in the world people are worried about being tortured, killed, raped, starved. You're irate b/c a tuition hike means less starbucks coffee drinks for you? Try living through the great depression. Then the worry was you and your family starving to death.

I was once like you all when I was younger. My advice: live your life, roll with the punches, gain some perspective, and appreciate what you have.

  • I long for the good old days, when students protested against the war, or in support of civil rights. Now it's all about THEM and their rich parents paying tuition. Fuck that, I paid my own way through college. Get a job.

  • Your perception of the issue is warped on many levels...First off, your assuming these are rich spoiled kids. Thats a huge assumption and for you to make it exposes quite a bit of class hostility towards "the rich". Secondly, the environment is NOT THE SAME as when you grew up - Young people today are not playing the same game as you did. The playing field is no longer level. Education is increasingly a luxury...Cmon...30% tuition hike? Thats pushing the working class out of the universities.

  • the increase in tuition amounts to Ca Residents paying about $3000 a year total for college. give me a break! I pay $17,000 a semester. its not pushing the working class out, its more like trying to get them to pay something close to the rest of the nation. Spoiled? hell yes. rich, dont know dont care.

  • I understand your comparison. I'm a graduate student out of Tennessee, and I have to use student loans for school. If the tuition went up by $3,000 a year, I wouldn't have been able to attend classes. My major requires an internship which limits my ability to have a job and school at the same time.

  • check the berkeley website. Ca residents pay less than $10,000 a YEAR to go there and out of state pays 16,000 a semester. how about closing that gap. I go to a tier 3 school in Florida. and we pay much more that that in tuition and fees. Crazy. As far as them getting hit by the police, don't obstruct an officer in the LAWFUL discharge of his duties and you will not get arrested or hit. Don't like the definition of LAWFUL DUTIES? Vote, make your voice be heard there

  • The state of CA is what's warped. The budget is a nightmare, and it's the voters who made it that way.

And I was part of the 'working class' when I went to college. It took 6 years as I had to go part time for several years while I worked. Tuition went up at mid-term twice in that time, after I had budgeted for the entire year.

And, if education is a luxury now, doesn't that mean that the protestors are spolied rich kids?

  • This video is a good indication of what is going on nowadays in the country. Students, the youngest people to have voted in this election see what is happening. They pay for an education to have Obama take it and give it to those who don't want to go to college. It is the police controlling a bit to much what could have been a peaceful protest. Why were there police there to start with? It is showing that the USA is becoming socialist. Soon healthcare will mean no more democracy!

  • Your quote "healthcare will mean no more democracy" is moronic. Democracy and popular sovereignty simplify to "by will of the people". The people of the US voted for their representatives and senators and these politicians are voting on behalf of their constituents. Since the majority party is now one political party, wouldn't that mean that the government is being run by the will of the people?

You might also want to reread the constitution regarding the general welfare clause. (Preamble)

  • You have to be kidding me! Congress does what the people want? Larger government debt, more controls over us, higher taxes? Controlling immigration (they don't)? How does this healthcare plan being run by the government not make us socialist? Perhaps you have never heard of Karl Marx. Sad thing is we wanted change and we got the same BS. Obama has done nothing worthy of this 'change' and the Dems and Reps just bicker between themselves. They do nothing UNLESS it helps them get re-elected.

  • How does a government providing a human right to the citizens make us socialist? I think our view differ based on our perception of healthcare, I view it as a necessity such as water. What if water was in the private sector? How many showers a week would you take?

Thankfully I have yet to live without coverage, but I see the end to that really soon with the economic recession not providing jobs for well educated recent graduates, a problem that is being solved by the current administration.

  • Explain to me how health care is a human right? It is not a necessity, 100 years ago how common was it? Oh that is right, it was not around like it is today.

Comparing water, a natural resource is not relevant. You can not compare them.

Go read up on the definition of socialism. It is the government putting more controls in place. It is government intervention in what we do. Health care, a benefit of modern society should be maintained outside the government. It is a right we earn.

  • You do realize that public education is considered to be socialist? So now you want to critize the right to educate our children. The government should control as needed to prevent issues such as rising costs of healthcare that do not meet the rising cost of living.

I think if you want to move out to a different well developed country without healthcare, you should. Let me know which well developed country that is, good hunting.

We're just oil and water, I will leave it at that.

  • Health insurance is not a human right.

Do you think healthinsurance actually keeps you healthy?

All it is is a economical hedge against a prolonged illness. Its not in the constitution and its FAR from a right.

  • >Health insurance is not a human right.

In the United States, apparently not.

  • Nowhere in the world is it a human RIGHT.

Countries may offer it but its not a RIGHT.

You do understand the difference, dont you?

  • that was a good comment becuse going to a doctor actually makes you worse some time and that means they make you worse

  • Miamiparistokyo said it Fucking hate police - mindless droids just doing what some fucking politician tells them too. I bet a third of them cops have kids in college and feel like they should be on the other side of the line but they are brainwashed with the idea that even if your heart tells you different you gotta do what the MAN (whoever that may be at the time) wants. GO STUDENTS. Stand up for your right as the future of our country to get the education that you should have for FREE.

  • As much as I am for 1st Amendment rights, I think the UC protesters are idiots. Realize that your state is going broke and already has had to freeze hiring and cut educational programs. Raising tuition to 10K for a UC school is not that large of a burden, especially considering the correlation with income and college graduation. Oh, and "peaceful protests" do not extended to crossing a police line or becoming combative with cops; actually, you're lucky you didn't get tased.

  • Cali is bankrupt. They laid off all these pub school teachers, forced state emplyees to go on leave with no pay. All UCs rely on a significant funding from the state. The students can protest all they want, but the school won't be able to afford the upkeep of buildings, professors, research, financial aid, if they don't raise tuition.

The police should be protecting themselves, not beating at the students, and the students shouldn't be pushing their bounds at a "peaceful" protest.

  • why can't they just napalm these faggots?

  • Dumass LIBERAL college babies. Got what they deserved.

  • Dumasses...the video DOESN'T lie, but YOUR eyes may deceive you. Those students got what they deserved for being disorderly and assaulting officers. Too bad. Now their mommies and daddies will have to pay bond!

  • Taze Em'

  • Don't taze me bro! :)

  • Theres a reason why theres an official with a video camera right behind the cops. I promise if you watched HIS footage you'd see the aggressors of the protest kicking at and shoving (i.e. assaulting) police officers trying to maintain the sanctioned line. The amount of force they're using is minimal compared to other methods they are authorized to use (pepper balls, spray, bean bag rounds, tasers etc) when being physically attacked by people. You can chant, you can shout, but you cannot fight.

  • Fucking hate police

  • Disgusting. These are peaceful protestors being brutalized by a police force that has been trained to view the exercise of free speech and peaceful assembly as an enemy action to fight against.

  • I am a student at UC Berkeley too, and I can't believe the retards posting retarded comments. These protests are part of democracy, human rights and freedom of speech. @people supporting the violence of police: I wanna beat the shit out of you. And actually the real retards are not the ones posting comments opposing the above values. Those are the ones who voted for the utmost retard in Sacramento.

  • you should be beat like a little bitch you hippy faggot

  • People are not posting bad things about the protest.

Were protesting bad things about the idiot protestors.

    LOL

Drrrrrr. I guess UC isnt that great.

  • not any more who are the criminals now who ruined bussiness college idiots

  • What the hell does your sentence mean?

  • are we in hell????? it means what it says try one more time to understand i wont make a smart ass comment like dont strain your brain it might pass out

  • i go to berkeley and these people that are protesting are absolutely retarded. i really wish i could have volunteered for the police department that day and just beat the shit out of them. "Were not violent how bout you"... really? you are stupid! dont fuckin mess with police when there trying to control a riot you idiots.

  • Comment removed

  • I love how they chant "We're not violent, how about you?". Did anybody else notice the student kicking the fence and taunting the officers? Let alone the ones pushing them back? These kids are nothing but a bunch of smart asses that walk along the line of the law trying to entice a retaliation from the cops.

  • to many cameras and who ever let them beat the kids up would be in big trouble

  • I think most of the protest the students/ hippies do at CAL these days are worthless. I mean what has protests throughout the recent years done anyways? There are cuts happening in every university; there's almost nothing that can be done.

  • Don't try to cross a police barricade you dumb shits. Obviously its there for a reason and they're going to push you back any way then need. Police brutality my ass

  • were the students chanting "Voldemort?" LMAO if they were...common, it sounds like it right!!!!

  • Einafetsable, these low income students you are referring to qualify for financial aid, which will cover the increased tuition costs. If you've looked at the numerous videos that have circulated on the net about this issue, they lack representation of black students. The UC system does a horrible job at racial inclusion: UC Davis - 3%, Santa Cruz - 3%, etc.

  • Since when is it the state school's job to convince apathetic minorities to attend school? Of the 13% or so population of blacks in America, what percent do you think values an education? The black population will always be second class citizens because people like you (liberals) convince them that they need a hand-out because of "years of social injustice". Weak. Blacks make fun of their fellow black peers for going to school. Don't you dare blame it on the "white establisment".
