  • K RENOTA! AAA AMO AL JAZZ MAS K A OTRA COSA ♥ ♥ ♪♫

  • 55 people have no taste

  • Anyone who thinks that ridiculous Lisa Simpson version of this is better than this classic original is CRAZY & is disrespecting Carole King & the greatness of this song!

  • Just heard this song today and God it back some good memories of a world less cruel & harsh like we live in today. They can't make music like this anymore no matter how hard they try. It made me feel so good, I had to Google it tonight just to hear again. Thanks for this great piece!

  • Love jazz! Je joue du saxophone, en plus!

  • This music is classic

  • Sheer brilliance on all levels...lyrics...sax...piano...vocals..an absolute masterpiece!!

  • I usually make smartass troll comments on YouTube (such as "Carole clearly stole this from Justin Beiber"). But this song is just so freakin good, I can't bring myself to do it.

They don't make em like this anymore.

  • @SDChargersForever Glad you're practicing some restraint. I see your comment was made about a year ago. How's it been going for you lately ?

  • Make it nice, play it clean.....

  • Asu todo un homenaje para los jazzman k nos dejaron un gran legado

  • Arguably her best recorded song.......maybe Tom Scott's finest hour, also.....

  • énorme j'adore on en fait plus de tel musique maintenant..

  • the song really is classic. from the sax to the lyric to the vocals. everyone involved at the top of their game.

  • i love lisa simpsons version :)

  • @BiBritable yes it's sure lisa version is very very good ^^, but the simpsons reffer lots of musical repertory, in the reals versions of legendary sounds

  • classic !!

  • I love this song so much, I would actually quite happily listen to it all day, listened to it 4 times already :) This is definitely carole kings most awesome song, even better than you've got a friend...

  • tom scott rules

  • classic!!!!!!

  • JAZZMAN THE VOICE of the 70s and beyond. IT will live beyond al eternity. Carol King at her best. This doo wop rocknroll historian who knows great music when he hears it is telling the world. THIS IS CAROLS FINEST SONG HER FINEST HOUR. EVER. God Bless. TOMK

  • Carole King I heard all your songs from 1962 on but JAZZMAN is your gift to the music world. this rocknroll&doo wop historian who knows great music when he hears it can tell you JAZZMAN will live on like other greats prior for all ETERNITY. May you live to be 200 but may JAZZMAN live for 2000 years. I know what i say. Supreme music the words the beat the feeling the era. JAZZMAN the voice of the 70s and beyond. trust me. I KNOw. God Bless. TOMK

  • I remember when I first heard this song at work. I couldn't wait to get home and play Tom Scott's tenor sax solos. I became a a big fan of Tom Scott and the L.A. Express after that. I'd always loved Carole's stuff. Especially the soprano sax solo on "It's Too Late"

  • R.I.P Bleeding Gums Murphy

  • i really like this song

  • Beatiful song and vid.

    BUT, u forgot Michael Brecker.

  • awesome song,

  • This is a great song! It always make me feel good!!

  • thank you carol king

for sharing your gift with us

  • Personally, I think that Carole King is a good singer, but Yeardley Smith isn't. Maybe I'm just mental.

  • I do like more lisa simpson's performance hehehe!

  • OHHHH MEN I LOVE THE SAXOPHONEEEEEEE

  • ooo..preciosaa laa cancion!

    santigktaa estaa via nomo jazzman

  • This 1974 pop song has always been a favorite of mine, the sound is so crisp and smooth, along with the unmistakable vocals of Carole King. This photographic tribute is outstanding, these are pictures of some of the greatest jazz performers to ever walk the earth, kudos for this video sundroid.

  • I sang this song on karaoke it's one of my favorite songs from Carole King.

  • awesome

  • this song is so good when you're walking or feeling down.

it has so much energy and life!

    love it, thanks for posting!

    xxxxxxx

  • a full version with Lisa Simpson would sound great, but a version with her and this woman singing together would be absolutely amazing!!!

  • so sooo true, both brilliant versions, but together would be WOW

  • love it great song great time to be alive.

  • truly an uplifting song...i love every part of it

  • Wow. CK you are the best.

  • What a shame that music like this isn't being written anymore. This is as wonderful as it was 30+ years ago when I was a kid!

  • to true, but the original is always the best

  • hey

    yea your right

lisa is awesome but carole king is the best

    and i´m 15,too

  • Good!! I start listening Jazz at 11 :)

And i think simpsons version is better

  • This is awesome but I like Lisa's version better =D

  • <3 lisa's version is way better lol

  • i think, lisas version is much better. Her Voice sound nicer.

  • This song was my first exposure to Tom Scott

(the genius on the sax). I was a whole 12 years old at the time. I've been a fan of his ever since.

  • this version is hot & lisa simpsons version is good also

  • I love Lisa's version!

  • Jazzman..

  • ONE Thousand times sexier and talented than Britney Spears. A lady like this only comes around once in a lifetime. So Beautiful....

  • yeah!!! What you said.lol

  • Carole & I are frinds & musical collegues from

the '70s. This song reminds me of my son!

    Love it! - Penny

  • Reminds me of the simpsons

  • excellent video and a beautiful song

  • carole is a just incrediable, and very talented, I love all her music, she can't sing a bad song.

  • Have to agree; she is an incredibly talented songwriter. We could do with more of her like now. Instead we are inundated with banale, forgettable "singer-songwriters", whose chord repertoire is extremely limited.

  • wonderful song

  • LOVE IT !!!

  • One of my favorites from Carole. She wrote the music for this song and the lyrics were composed by David Palmer.

Tom Scott does the knockout sax on the track. He composed several t.v. series theme songs from the 70's.

  • those men pictured here are real greats, real brains, leaders and Carole King is up there with them beautiful musicians all.

  • This brings me right back to '74. I loooove this song. This is a classic and Carole is a gem and a real classic. I loooove her. Thank god for Carole King and her beautiful voice. They just don't make songs like this anymore. She is the BEST!!!!!!

  • the song is beautiful

  • this song is extremly great

  • this is my audition song for jazz band.

  • What a sweet tribute. Great song choice. Thanks.

  • This is definitely one of her best hits; although all of her hits are great!!! She's one of the best singer/songwriters of the 1970s and beyond, IMHO, of course. I really like the lyrics to this song.

  • This is, by far, one of Carole King's best songs! I love the lyrics.

  • Carole King's best !

  • Agreed!!!

  • it is wonderfull very good

  • I think that Carole King is a good singer because she has a charm voice and I like all of her songs I believe that she is the best singer after Barbra Streisnad and Madonna

  • REPLY TO goyito1962346: Carole is the Best Singer/Sonwtiter/Pianist of the '60s, & especially '70's- still strong today. I would say, as a colleague, she is right up there

with Steisand. Madonna was good after she found her singing voice in latter years, however, not an Icon like the prior two. This

doesn't mean that I don't like her...Just not the same calibre.

  • Who was that pianist at 00:14?

  • REPLY FOR n310ea: The Great Duke Ellinton.

  • REPLY To n310ea: Duke Ellington, a great songwriter & pianist himself! (I made a typo in his name,below.)-Penny

  • Indeed a masterpiece. It truly gave me chills. Very powerful lyrics. Thank you.

  • anybody who has ever played in a band can relate.if you got people dancing and moving you got invited back, if not, you got fired!!

  • "When the Jazzman's testifyin' A faithless man believes He can sing you into paradise Or bring you to your knees" great lyrics! although my fav part is when she's singing: "It's the late night side of morning In the darkness of his soul He can fill a room with sadness As he fills his horn with tears He can cry like a fallen angel When risin' time is near" by the way, did she write this song?
  • Quoting from wikipedia: ""Jazzman" is a 1974 song performed by Carole King, from her album Wrap Around Joy. King provided the sheet music for the song, while David Palmer wrote the lyrics."

  • whats this type of jazz called?? please response, this makes me stay awake^^

  • IT has never sounded better, what more can you say.

  • I just got the chills!!!

  • i love this song and i i love jazz

I'm a realy big jazz fan

  • tom scott is insane-whst a player x

  • Tom Scott's sweet tenor solos turns back the pages of time.... Carol King and Jazzman has me waxing nostalgic about High School during the 70's ...

    Thanks for the post!!!

  • saw it on simpsons months ago and tried to find it since. Hallelujah

  • man i love this song

  • awesome sax player-- that's Tom Scott blowing that amazing stuff

  • normally this really isnt my music but this is great

  • That is sooooo Great !!!

  • Pardon me. Carole King and not Carol King.

  • Thank you for posting Jazz Man By Carol King. I always loved that song. I liked seeing Thelonious Monk in the video. Much enjoyed, and much appreciated!!!

  • Awesome! Although, being a saxophone player, I think you didn't show enough saxes in the video, but then that's just me. It is still an awesome video and I love this song! Thanks for a great video!

  • Wckd!! I don't normally listen to Jazz but this is just pure delight!!

  • Outstanding. You have put together a masterpiece... made out of masterpieces. Well done.
