1st ever pre recorded tape I bought ( Peter Gabriel 1 was the other ) and then all of Genesis and all the other 'prog' its all this mans fault ... stuff Punk , this is music ... john Age 50 ! Bloody wonderful isn't it ?
Astonishing. Saw Steve and his band perform this way back in the 80's in the greater Philadelphia area.... not sure which album was out at the time, but the show was supposed to be at the Tower Theater. We rolled up and there was a sign on the door directing us to the Delaware club in Ambler. A great time was had by all.
Steve Hackett, Roger King (Keyboards), Gary O'toole (Drums), Nick Beggs (Bass), Amanda Lehmann (backing vox and guitar)(webmaster), Rob Townsend (Wind/brass).
Great song, this was played on the Dutch radio some 30 years ago in a show with the 100 best albums (according to the listeners). Heard it there for the first time and never forget the really beautiful guitarsolo at the end.
Now I'm gonna see Steve live in Holland in november 2011.
Saw him at House of Blues in Cleveland. I have seen him many times starting with Genesis, he is so underated. I saw him with 3 people who had never seen him before all thought he was amazing. I wish he had a weekly gig in cleveland, my house would be best i think.
Stunning!

true to the original and much improved with a punchy base line and rhythmically dressed drum heartbeat, I like it, get to Liverpool Steve

YES!!
Looking forward to this one very much.
Heard and saw the band perform this during soundcheck in Zoetermeer in 2010
and had spent time with Steve and Jo in the dressingroom before that.
The concert was awesome; will be great to feel it again on DVD.
