  • LOVELY. DID U JOIN THE TOUR? CAN YOU ADVISE THE TOUR AGENCY THERE?

  • @paulhotravelstudio

We used Andes Salt Expeditions managed by Braulio who were recommended by Tucan Tours as they used them every time they took a group to Uyuni. Bernice was his wife the cook. She was charming!

  • JUST BREATHTAKING..HOW THE HECK DID YOU FIND THIS SPECTACULAR AND INTERESTING PLACE?...OK OK I GIVE WHERE ARE THE HOTELS?

YOU ARE SO BRAVE TO BE OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF SALT FOR GOD'S SAKE! HOW THE HELL DID YOU KNOW HOW TO DRIVE ON SALT...NO SIGNS OR NUTHIN'...GOOD GRIEF..YOU TWO ARE LIKE EXPLORERS PRETTY DAMN IMPRESSIVE!

  • @AKQJ40 Thanks

We just talked to lots of travellers and asked them what they thought. It's easier now there is the internet and trip adviser and facebook for finding out where to go and how.... but then you just talked. A top tip is to see where escorted tours go and then do it independently using the same transport and hotels but directly - you can do it for half the price. In Uyuni we stayed in Hotel Tonito which has the added bonus of serving the best pizza in south america at Minuteman!!

  • Enjoyed to watch again this video....really amazing and so beautiful !

Are you traveling again or have any plans for the future ? Would love to watch if you make more videos

  • Awesome !

Thank yo so much for sharing. This place is really amazing. I added it to my favorites.

I like very much the way you travel and I enjoy very much to see all your videos.

How far is this place from La Paz ?

  • Thanks 4 yr comments - delighted you like the video. It's 4 hrs by bus from La Paz-Oruro then 7 hrs by train to Uyuni. The train runs twice a week. You need 2 allow time to get used 2 the altitude as well.

Advice in 2006 was 2 only take the day bus from Oruro as it can be dangerous 2 change from the train station 2 bus station @ night. This is only "hearsay" & not hard facts - I do remember our taxi was a right hand drive car with steering wheel & pedals moved to the left but not the dashboard!

  • Thank you for getting me excited about my trip to Bolivia!

  • whats the name of that song ?

  • it is "sunshine" from keane.

  • this is such a beautiful video i love the music\

  • i love this music

  • Very cool, that place truly is amazing, nothing like it in this world!

  • Exactly! It's like you are flying with blue sky and clouds all around you - stunning.
