Sorry for being so tough on you guys, but I'm a lifelong 3rd generation Philly native, Fishtown born & raised, so I have strong opinions, great respect & appreciation for the topics & historical significance of the places you explore & would like to see them described in a way outsiders will find them to be interesting, attractive & alluring as well. I do like what your doing, approach is a little too cutsie for my taste, but whatever right. Thanks & keep up the good work.
Before Re-doing your gayborhood video, Do your home work & Check out a few gay philly historical facts. Did you know some major gay history events happened here at Independence Hall. Make sure you Film the real places of interest in the Gayborhood next time. If your going to do it, do it right the 1st time dudes.
The Gayborhood is one of Phillies most significant Crown Jewel’s &1 of America’s most historic LGBT communities & attracts record numbers of visitor’s weekly. It’s great because it reflects how Phillies the birth place of individual right’s that provide the freedom to be whoever you are-no matter what! If you were smart you’d trash this video & redo it after doing your home work. As is, it makes you look like new transplants who eaither don't care about or are’nt that keen on the LGBT community.
I appreciate what you’re attempting to do, but if I were Gay I'd be insulted with how much you missed. You went to restaurant that are really on the out skirts of Gayborhood when there are so many other undoubtedly Gay focused establishments. The Latino place next to the book store was a Poor choice. Have you ever viewed any spots the Gay cable channel does on Phillies Gayborhood? Clearly not! Philly is one of America's most Gay friendly destinations. This was a easy slam dunk but you missed it?
Where’s the enthusiasm dudes? Really stayed on the periphery-on the surface, so much more about Phillies "World Famous" Gayborhood you could have showed off. I’m straight, live on Washington Square & just walking down the street anyone can get a full 5 minutes of exciting typical activity this hood’s known for. So many other eateries, etc.. more substantial. You get "1" star for this weak, lack-luster video-you missed (or intentionally avoided) the MARK. So much more could easily have been done.
Thanks for covering the Gayborhood, but IWISHUNU more. This really told us nothing about the area, what it is, and how it came to be.
