Charice is a powerful singer with great stage presence, however, she lacks the ranges of Mariah, Whitney and Celine. The higher ranges I mean, plus they have better tone quality. These 3 are special because they combine extremely powerful vocals with extremely high ranges, they can go from a beautiful soft whisper to a powerful loud roar in seconds.

@aero398 She just can't. I don't mean to be rude, but her voice has deteriorated. She has overworked it. This is common for coloratura sopranos. They can sing high and powerful over large orchestras and the like, but they have to rest and take care of their voices or it will deteriorate. It deteriorates slightly anyway over decades,but it deteriorates rapidly when overworked. Mariah should tour but take breaks in between. She's been working herself like a race horse.

Why do people keep comparing whitney's version to mariah's they are two totally different version, both of them made it there own, we can't say one was better than the other its based off of personal opinion, but if we are gonna bash mariah thats realize that one this was one of her first public appearances and it was live, and whitney's was a recorded version, so of course u have time to perfect it.

@ThePharaoho Mariah is born 1970 in March 27th. So when her debut album was released it was in June of 1990. Mariah had recently turned 20.. Mariah was signed with Columbia in late 1988. Mariah became famous when she was 20. She is now 40. (since 3 months ago)

Mariah, Whitney, and Celine are the greatest singers in history: tone, range, power, stamina. We will never see the likes of them again. They are legends. Mariah and Whitney were stunningly beautiful as well.

@LoboAscuridad Cristina doesn't have a real Whistle Register. She has a very super high falsetto and with that technique she is able to reach up to a G6 or A6. But she hasn't been persistence with high notes and the low resonance Mariah produces with her low notes. not taking anything away from Cristina.

@kimmila2000 Charice is fantastic, but she still has a ways to go to get to these divas level. Charice is a powerful singer with great stage presence, however, she lacks the ranges of Mariah, Whitney and Celine. The higher ranges I mean, plus they have better tone quality. These 3 are special because they combine extremely powerful vocals with extremely high ranges, they can go from a beautiful soft whisper to a powerful loud roar in seconds.

@aero398 She just can't. I don't mean to be rude, but her voice has deteriorated. She has overworked it. This is common for coloratura sopranos. They can sing high and powerful over large orchestras and the like, but they have to rest and take care of their voices or it will deteriorate. It deteriorates slightly anyway over decades,but it deteriorates rapidly when overworked. Mariah should tour but take breaks in between. She's been working herself like a race horse.

@ThePharaoho Mariah is a light lyrics soprano. i know it sounds like she is colortura, but she is a true light lyric soprano. she only has the range of a colortura. and her voice is like everyone else's when they get older. it's not deteriorating or she's not losing it. it's just called getting older. i don't mean to be rude. butof course she can't sing like she used to, heck we all can't sing like we used to it's a fact of life. have a nice day
