The Aeon's colossus may be strong however that is complete BS at the end and with the first colossus showing up at the Cybran's base taking out the monkeylords within 10 secs, not to mention why the hell weren't the monkeylords shooting their lasers at the colossus!?! The only fucking monkeylord to attack at all was the first one.
And the aliens you know beings from a completely different plannet have stuff that is exactly like warfare from earth tanks robots nukes etc why dont they make an effort an have an alien side thats actually alien!
Is there any point just building T3 units or are the experimental units just far superior that they make them redundant!?
I preffere the biggest untit to be a super heavy tank not some giant unit that makes all the other units look like pieces of crap beneath its wheels! I think they got the scale all wrong the biggest unit should be the battleships or aircraft cariers not some goddamn flying beetle!
Strategic weapons are just toys, I can beat any noob who attempts to build them simply by sending some from of experiemntal alongside a good AA defense force and portable shields.
Great movie. Supreme Commander /Forged Alliance is the king of RTS. Nothing surpasses it, not even Supreme Commander 2. I am totally in love with this awesome game.

That was epic. Good choice of music, though I;d have recommended a fade to white at the end. As in; ended with a nuclear flash and several GC's on their way to clean up. Great video though.

This is how supcom should be. Epic massive battles that require stratergy and tatical knowledge in order to win. Not rushing... which isn't really any skill in it.
the highest setting was actualy "OMG TOO HIGH TURN IT DOWN BEFORE YOUR COMP BLOWS!!!" sadly, GPG had to remove that setting to avoid blowing up computers all over the world.
there's plenty of people im sure that can play crysis on very high... i can run it great... my comp was custom built by my dad and cousin... both knowtheir stuff about computers... doesn't phase my computer at all... gorgeous looking game =D it sucks online though cuz newbs think their rig is good enough to play and lags it for everyone...

also, the best way to defend your base from Experimental units is to build lots of T2 cruise missile buildings-they can do thousands of points damage per shot!

LOL! Have you even played Crysis!? The highest setting in Crysis is Very High (this goes for everything). Its max AA is considered to be 8xAA, though some have managed to get 16xAA. Its highest highest AF is 16x. And no one would factor resolution into the highest setting, since no one in their right mind would purchase a monitor with over 4000x resolution. So, what's your overall point? I guess you have to win this argument no matter what.

Let me chime in, since I've read this far. Like that other dude said. There is no higher setting than "Very High", so I'm not sure what your point is. Getting beyond the default settings means dealing with the cryengine2 itself, which requires modifying it. Custom graphics is when the settings deviate from a set default. Very High is the default for max. If graphics were set at custom, something would have to be below that. Sorry, but you're losing the debate. Just saying.
In case any moron has further trouble following . If you have default set to very high, but change a setting, like textures for instance, to medium, below Very High, it is considered custom. Custom doesn't mean you went beyond Very High, it just means you have certain values set at different defaults (Low, Medium, High and Very High). I repeat, it does not mean you have settings higher than Very High, which is as high as it will go. Anyone who has "actually played" Crysis knows this.

LOL! Have you even played Crysis!? The highest setting in Crysis is Very High (this goes for everything). Its max AA is considered to be 8xAA, though some have managed to get 16xAA. Its highest highest AF is 16x. And no one would factor resolution into the highest setting, since no one in their right mind would purchase a monitor with over 4000x resolution. So, what's your overall point? I guess you have to win this argument no matter what.

O really. I'm not the fool arguing with someone, particularly when I don't even know the subject of the argument's actual nature, and looking ridiculous in the process. Crysis's max settings are Very High, hell anyone could tell you this, but for some ridiculous reason, you think it's "Ultra realistic" LMFAO! Warhead's max settings are Enthusiast. Even more idiotic is the claim that resolution has to be maxed, particularly when there are no monitors with such settings, nor would you notice it.

@heflys20 Monitors no, but you can link your TV to your computer (Not that uncommon) provided your TV isnt 10 years old and a TV could max the resolution.
I might have been wrong about the name of the highest setting however im sure there is a higher setting then ''very high'' in crysis(and even then im not entirely sure that setting it to ''very high'' will max it either, I think you need to set it costum to really get it to highest)

Uh, hooking up a game up to a TV won't change the resolution, you do realize that? Plus, the highest HDTV has a resolution of 1920x1080. And I seriously doubt you own a 1080p TV. So........
And, I'm not sure why you're discussing custom graphics, since that has nothing to do initial code of Crysis, and has more to do with the engine used. And, again, the highest setting allowed by the developers of Crysis is "Very High" with DX10.

yes but they also desinged crysis with future computers (Or hardware if your a computer builder) so it would kinda make sense if they intentionally cirppled the ''very high'' setting so that people with new computers think they got the ''max'' out of the game.
If they did then people would have to make costum settings to really ''max'' it.

Seriously, if I wasn't getting such a migraine from your responses, I'd laugh. Did you not just read the part where I indicated PC monitors have a higher resolution than TVs? PC Monitors, at their highest resolution (which is higher than any TV) , have higher aspect ratio and more mega pixels. And why are we still discussing crysis? @heflys20 ''Costum'' is the name given to the setting when you manully change the settings so that it does not match up with any of the pre-set settings (I.e Low.Medium,High)
This is done in the OPTIONS MENU.

Let me chime in, since I've read this far. Like that other dude said. There is no higher setting than "Very High", so I'm not sure what your point is. Getting beyond the default settings means dealing with the cryengine2 itself, which requires modifying it. Custom graphics is when the settings deviate from a set default. Very High is the default for max. If graphics were set at custom, something would have to be below that. Sorry, but you're losing the debate. Just saying.

In case any moron has further trouble following . If you have default set to very high, but change a setting, like textures for instance, to medium, below Very High, it is considered custom. Custom doesn't mean you went beyond Very High, it just means you have certain values set at different defaults (Low, Medium, High and Very High). I repeat, it does not mean you have settings higher than Very High, which is as high as it will go. Anyone who has "actually played" Crysis knows this.

you pay mostly for the cases and the built in liquid cooling. But they have some really nice cases...
but it is true you really don't get what you pay for. you could easily shave 200-400 dollars off the cost just by not buying an alienware.
