  • But, Rabbit, that isn't an official map..

.Owl drew it, not an offical....map...drawer....

  • @Itayram2 Owl isnt official at anything. He just makes stuff up.

  • this song explains so much about rabbit lol

  • I remember when it was this difficult to get to school.

  • Is it just me, or is this like, the best thing ever?

  • This song is about Accounting....

  • lol I remember drawing Owl's map on paper after watching the movie. It starts off from owl's house then it ends at "the skull" I even drew my own skullosaurus

  • I think this is the Disney way of saying don't trust everything you read...HEAR ME OUT:

Rabbit sings this song but then the map rips and they are all lost. Then Rabbit realizes that using your head is actually the best way. Plus Rabbit looks like bigger idiot in this scene because clearly Pooh Bear had the right idea.

  • who search for this, find it, watch it, and then dislike it!?

  • 3 people didn't trust the map !

  • I'm 16 and I still find this funny! My childhood! <3 People ask why I troll..Look at what I watched when i was little. Rabitt trolled everyone with the map and signs lol!

  • He... threw them off a cliff.

  • Oh, this movie...I just had the BIGGEST nostalgic moment in my life! ;_; Why did it have to end so fast? WHY?!

  • To be fair: the map was right up till that point, its just that rabbit didn;t notice the massive shortcut (go STRAIGHT towards the skull instead of prancing around the whole world) and he obviously can't read maps

  • Rabbit: "this OFFICIAL map?"

    .

me: you mean that map that Owl hand drew from MEMORY earlier in the movie? o.0

  • Lets see... I need to find my best friend. Do I go in the direction that my own eyes are clearly showing me to go... Or do I believe and follow this little paper that a crazy ass owl made up in a musical dance number making sure that heffalumps and woozles, and goodness knows what else would be in the way?? Hmm... Tough call.

  • Winnie the Pooh is the only show where I know the voices of every character off by heart instantly. And I can make them say anything I want in my head xD

Ahh... childhood memories. The movie where Tigger tries o find his 'family tree' is so sad D: I cried the first couple of times watching it.

  • Hasn't he heard not to trust everything you read?

Rabbit should never be allowed near wikipedia. Or Fox News.

  • The media outlets anthem.

  • I'm going to see the new Pooh movie. And I'm 20.

  • I've grown up with Winnie the Pooh, and I grew up thinking Rabbit was a girl....only about a few years ago did I realize that Rabbit is indeed, not a girl...I felt kinda stupid when I did......lol. xD Either way, Rabbit is probably my favorite. :)

  • @animeraingirl Lol I thought the exact same thing :P

  • @bannanakiwi Glad I'm not the only one then! xD

  • @animeraingirl Me too. But that's because his voice sounded so girly. Now that he sounds more masculine, I don't have this problem.

  • @MichaelSar12IsBack For me, his voice wasn't really the reason why I thought he was a girl....I think I just automatically assumed he was a girl because he had a garden. xD (when I was little, I thought only girls had gardens....I was a odd child). But yeah..now that I listen to his voice again, it does sound a little girly. lol :)

  • The Pooh movies all rock! I freaking love this song!

  • All you guys here saying that rabbit is a woman or acting like a woman, go see the new Pooh bear movie. He dreams of rabbit girls fawning over him because he's so great and smart, LOL!!!

  • @LIZZY93ify

    Isn't Christopher Robin like, 5?

Seems a little weird for him to imagine a character imagining that.

  • This is basically how I think, as long as you replace the word "map" with the words "movie" and "reviews".

  • What gender is Rabbit?

  • @GraveHorizon Male

  • Lol, I like how they're all like what the heck? when Rabbit is singing :D

  • damn i bet they had a fun time animating rabbit lol XD

  • bother.

  • 1 Person has never seen this movie D:

  • 1:55 Rabbit's happy eyes are adorable.

Also, something I really love about Winnie The Pooh is that the characters still sound like themselves when they sing. Every time, characterization is chosen over pitch, and it just makes it that much better.

  • @LunarSorceress good point

  • @LunarSorceress I know right

  • You know, aside from it being about critical thinking or lackthereof, was anyone else thrown off by Rabbit prancing and doing ballet in a way that was both incredibly bizarre and hilarious?

    Oh Rabbit.

  • This is about thinking critically. Taking in both our resources and surroundings and then making a decision.

  • "Right!" Rabbit says "The map says this way, so this way is the way we shall you

""I wouldn't go that way if I were you!" Pooh says

"Oh pooh bear, can't you see I'm trying to follow the map! Do I have to run through the song again?"

"Rabbit watch out...you about to walk off a cliff!"

"Now, do you see a cliff on the map? No, I didn't think so! Therefore there is no.....CLIFF!" He screams falling off.

  • @basilthefierce intriguing...any way this scene of the movie inspired me to use a map as a parachute as a kidXD

  • @basilthefierce ......................................i'm not here to argue but remember it's a Disney movie. I think its more of a satire of how the masses rely on signs/officials/media and what-not to for guidance, disregarding common sense. Like if it says so on a piece of paper or tv then it is so.

  • Oh Bother....

  • The point of the song was to show that maps aren't everything.

  • Pooh and everybody else: OH NO! THERE'S A TRUCK HEADING STRAIGHT TOWARDS US!

Rabbit: Now, is there a truck on this map? No, therefore there is no truck there-

    SPLAT!

  • @1Thunderfire ffffff.ooooooooohhh! ouch! That must hurt if that happens! better not trust that map. :)

  • @Magmaric Ahaha, I forgot I wrote that! Thanks for reminding me about the song, I must listen to it again! :D

  • @1Thunderfire Your welcome! this song is very funny especially the acts.

  • Oh Jeezes! I loved this song! I'm getting mixed messages...we can't trust our eyes or brains...then how was the map created?....Oh well...Follow the map and those epic arrows! :)

  • OMG! I totally forgot about this song until I say it in related videos....Rabbit and this song are both, clearly, EPIC WIN!

  • But wait....if you can't trust your eyes...and you need your eyes to look at a map/book....

I'm getting mixed messages here.... :P

  • I have this on my iPod. I loved this movie when I was younger - but man it's dark and scary for a kid's movie. I absolutely love Pooh when he's just like "bother". My favorite part!

  • dont you need to put faith in your eyes in order to actually READ THE FREAKING MAP, think about what your saying rabbit, god i love my childhood, wouldn't think about silly things like that :)

  • that had to be the most confusing map i've ever seen. o_o

  • sometimes you just have to trust your own intuition. its not always "foolish".

  • @rupertandbill That's why I love Rabbit. :)

  • Rabits a douch! XD

  • I think i became wierd from actually listening to this song cuz now I don't belive anything unless i read it on paper sometimes..this is ur fault rabbit! xD jking.

  • I've never realised how annoying Rabbit's voice is. o.0

  • i actually started singing this song this morning randomly!! haha! good times...

  • damn, rabbit is abusive.

  • If it is so..So it is(:

  • My theory is most probably wrong, since this is a kid's show... but when I first heard it, I could swear it had some sort of religious overtone. That may just be my modernized (and secularized) interpretation of the song, but it honestly sounds like Rabbit is preaching to the other characters. One part that caught my ear was "brains will get you nowhere..." Somewhat sounds like bashing science, but I'm most likely taking it completely out of context.

  • @VoidedKurai I mostly thought that he was just being cocky. I suppose it could be interpreted like that, but I'd personally rather not think of it like so.

  • @VoidedKurai Interesting theory, but I doubt that was the intention of this song.

  • Rabbit sounds like a conman trying to sell a useless map to a group of idiots.

  • LOL idk why, but for some reason me and my sisters always made jokes about the mighty pen...

  • Wow, too many memories.

  • You can't always rely on a map. Sometimes you have to use what God gave you. A map isn't always dependable and just because someone writes it down, doesn't alwas mean that it's right. Because if the right way is in front of your own eyes, then you should follow it. This message is mostly for the little kids who are probably watching this.

  • I love it! I love Rabbit! and yes, he's a woman :D

Is there "haven't had a need for MINE in years" or "haven't had a need for MIND in years"? I suppose it's "mine"?

  • ...After watching this, and taking some other things into consideration, I'm not surprised people mistake Rabbit as a woman. XD He's twirling and doing ballet.

  • "Brains will get you nowhere fast, my dears!

Haven't had a need for mind in years!"

I always loved this song! XD

  • freaking huge words for me when i was like.. 6? I completely understand the whole thing now haha

  • is rabbit a boy or a girl??? im confuzzled

  • written by THE GOVERNMENT?!?!?!?!

  • i loved this song as a kid,lol

  • I love his definition of map "a dependable, unwavering, inarguable portrayer of your position."

  • childhood memories i always was scared of the scallesaurus! this film is fantastic!!

  • I don't blame you but don't forget at the end of the movie there never was a skullasaurs. The growling just came from Pooh's tummy.

  • i know but if it had been a scallesaurus it should be very scary!!

  • @dmc97ingc there might be a skullasaurus if you notice they didnt go to the right cave. remember when tigger trys to get the map piece that flew away they fall off a ledge. wich means they never make it to the skull cave. if you dont believe me by that much you can look on wiki to. It says on the movies trivia. =)

  • "BUT RABBUT!"

  • lol

Rabbit was always my favorite Pooh character and of course Pooh and Tigger...

this is one of my fav pooh songs

  • Oh look! It's my childhood! :D Hahaha.

  • Ugh.I miss this.Oh crap I have it on video!!!!!

  • I always loved dis song. lol.

  • Rabbit's animation was done very well here. And the song is very silly, yet very obsessive. Very much like our dear hare, no?

I think the sad thing is, that I actually use the phrase "If it says so, then it is" from this song. It took me YEARS to realize that it was from WtP.

  • You know, I used to think, "Pooh is so... childish!"

Yet.when I think back, I still have songs from Winnie the Pooh things stuck in my head from when I was but a little tyke. I'm still able to sing along after years and years...

And here I am singing along now, right here with the rest of you.

...I guess maturity is more than putting childish things behind you... you've got to accept the child that stays with you, too.

  • 1:49 that Bastard just threw all of his friends off a friggin cliff!!! WTF???

  • I never even noticed that before, out of all the times I've seen this movie. xDDD

  • @Ringdar

Don't forget what line he's singing then

"Brains will get you no where fast my dears, haven't had a need for mine in years"

(In fact it's on standby right now)

  • hahaha, ikr??

  • @Ringdar ikr??

  • @Ringdar haha damn right he did.

  • @Ringdar XD

  • LMAO! I haven't seen this movie since I was like 4!!! Thanks for uploading!!! :P

  • If you have all of the clips of the songs, do you have the whole movie to upload?

  • This has to be a loose dismissal of empiricism.

  • We need to sing this at Scouts XD

  • Rabbit's voice sounds like an old woman.

  • i always though rabbit was a girl but it turns out hes not

  • Great so I'm not the only one.

  • That's so narrow-minded. Maps are junk. What if it's outdated or the landscape changed? Deal with that, booky bunny boy!

  • 2:o7 the signs pop up everywhere and he's like "bother"

  • "if it says so, then it is so" the government's favorite phrase.

  • Lol, of course.

  • are you going to post the whole movie?

  • owl made a mad fucked up map

  • This song is quite funny, I had forgotten it!!

Rabbit is so cool xD specially this one, the latin american spanish rabbit has an annoying voice -.-

Could you please please please put the whole movie?? I need to watch it!!

  • This is one of the few times I've ever seen Rabbit smile. lulz

  • rabbit is totally wacked but funny

  • I love this scene because it really fleshes out the character of Rabbit. Until here, he was strictly business, but he becomes really energetic, intuitive through this song.

  • Rabbit, is awesome

  • Rabbits always been my favourite!

  • lol love this movie and everything winnie the pooh but rabbit is just so ... stupid and silly in this song it makes me laugh for reasons i normally dont laugh at for winnie the pooh lol!

  • The brief opening patter section is covered by stills of the stars

  • The Jitterbug number took 5 weeks and tens and thousands of dollars to prepare, reaherse and film, and it was cut from The Wizard of Oz after the first preview. The Jitterbug itself as an animated pink and blue miscetolike creature who under direct orders from The Wicked Witch, stings the principal charicters into a givy swing dance in the Huanted Forest. Here is a complete track of the number acompined by movies Harold Arlen made during a camrea rehersal.

  • does this remind you of the Jitterbug song from the Wizard of Oz (1939)?

  • This 1 of my favourite Winnie the Pooh Movies i got it when i was like 4 lol luv it

  • A cool thing about this movie is how Paul Winchell reprised the role of Tigger for this movie. It's neat because starting in 1990, Jim Cummings took over as the voice of Tigger, but Paul Winchell decided to voice his famous character one last time. RIP Paul Winchell, you were the best!

  • I agree. Paul Winchell was awesome!! I was so sad when I first heard he died :(

  • Me too. I also enjoyed his performances as Dick Dastardly and Gargamel, among several others.

  • Actually, I can't tell the difference between Winchell's Tigger and Cummings' Tigger.

  • I love Pooh! I wish noone said that you have to be a certain age to like Pooh! Look at my background on my user thingy!

  • Mollyryaimoon- I agree with this comment strongly. I know it's over a year old, but I felt like saying that. Anyone who says you're too old for Pooh is nothing more than a toughguy wannabe wanting to look manlier than everyone else. You're never too old for family movies.

  • Lol! I love Pooh Bear, too! He's so cool! I luv im'! Great job!!

    Ugh, silly Rabit. Lol!

  • Silly Rabbit, maps are for geeks!

  • Ha ha ha (is laughing too hard to comment)

  • I'm a genius!

  • Thamks so much! i love pooh bear! he's great!♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥LOVE IT!

  • Thamks so much! i love pooh bear! he's great!♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥LOVE IT!
