I prefer to have Wordpress on my own domain and web host = ultimate flexibility. For example Hostgator web hosting have a utility at the cpanel called Fantastico which allows to install WP with literally 2 (or 3?) clicks. You can make wonders with WP, not just blogging.

i would advise anyone that is considering a free word press .com site to be careful as you are not the owner of the content, it can be taken away from you and you will have no recourse. better to go to the .org site and have it hosted

Wordpress is brilliant, I think they should teach it at Schools. Get people to be more creative and less Facebook.

You can even upload a million records and make a million pages in a day. It's a place to communite and deliver information but also money can be made from it in various ways.
