Honestly,why such a huge knife for a small fruit?The avacado isn't very green at all inside.

I always reach for my regular Chef Knife myself, unless it's a specialized task that I need my cleaver or a flexible boning knife for. I was always taught to use the biggest one I was comfortable with, and there is no sense in dirtying (or buying) mulitple knives when just one or two can do anything you need.

@mcgoo721 True on the knives.We all have the usual few knives that come in those knife sets.I have little hands and little fingers so it has to be a smaller knife for me.
