@Gosu85 i believe alpacas have been domesticated animals for quite a long time now (WELL, before Europeans came to central and south america)

this is at an alpaca show, they are in a small area because that's the way it is set up, alpacas usually are put in larger fields at the farms where they are raised. they are not usually treated cruelly or unfairly.

they are pretty docile animals.

this particular type of alpaca is more nervous, and jumpy than the other types

so it's no big deal
