What direction was broadway taking that Adam didn't like that got him to move to LA?

I'd read somewhere or heard somewhere that he wouldn't do musicals like "Kiss Me Kate." So perhaps the comedic Ave Q's or Drowsy Chaperones were not musicals to which he could attach. Sounds a skosh arrogant, but I don't think he meant it that way. He just isn't your traditional musical star and so he wouldn't be right for your traditional musicals.

If you mean Adam, well, yeah a lot of actors do that! I mean there used to having people write stuff for them! If you ever watch a red carpet, they're always stuttering trying to think of an answer on the spot, but most get better at it and can answer them with ease.
