come on dude.... the christian has the same right to yard art as those on Patterson St, and you know it. Madison is great and Art Paul Schlosser is wonderfully weird.
No, the Christian should show some responsibility towards his neighbors. Just because he's strange doesn't mean he has to advertise it. I know for a fact that my neighbors would be pissed if I put up huge signs in my yard. Would yours? The Patterson sculptures are public pieces of art. As for Schlosser, I agree, he is the only original musician in Madison and I like him.
no way. this crazy dude is not a christian -- he preaches hate -- *and* he disturbs the peace. when i was a grad student working on the 4th floor of memorial library, which is adjacent to where he preaches, i could hear this guy's voice from inside the library. he usually shouts louder than he does in this video. when i approached and asked him to quiet his voice -- not even to shut up, just to quiet down -- he didn't even look me in the eye. just kept on preaching as though i wasn't there.
