  • Well, that anticipation of the major chord was...tight.

  • Wow this is one of the best multi-tracks I have ever heard!!

At 2:00 you sound just like Max Q!

And whoever is talking about the 'legal issues' can just shut up, this is AWESOME!!

  • I would agree with the copyright statements, except he is making zero financial gain on it, so I doubt it's a legal issue. May be an issue if he didn't buy the music though...

  • hey where did you find the music for this???? and did you buy it ?????? please get back to me

  • this is absolutely great... do you think you could send me the music?

  • Fantastic job! Do you know where I could buy this arrangement from?

  • this is really nicely done. all of your videos are high quality and they sound like they must have taken forever to do. you're amazing!

  • great job, man. doing tags is one thing, but the entire song? wow.

  • this is beautiful, you have a great voice, keep the videos coming ;)

  • Wow, that sounded amazing! I love barbershop multitracks and I can't believe that I never stumbled across one of yours before. But seriously, great job.

  • Muy bien! i can't wait to be in Mr. Lewis' choir class next year!!! omg!!!

  • Awesome performance! Keep up the great work. But please, is it legal? Did you happen to get Clay Hines and Disney's permission (mechanical license) to record his arrangement and broadcast on Youtube? I love the multi-track stuff being recorded, but wonder why people don't see that this violates the copyright and requires a mechanical license from the copyright holder and arranger? As a friend to Gary, Max Q, and as a musician, I say please pay for the right to record someone elses work! Steve.

  • Thanks...I know what you mean...I recorded it just for fun and not for commercial issues...So I think it's ok...

  • I think if you record the tag or a small section of the song, you'd be OK. But US Copyright Law requires you to pay for a mechanical license to make any recording, regardless of your intended use...for fun, to make DVDsto sell, or to post on you tube for people to see for free. I love your voice and multi-tracks...I just encourage you to do it legally. Peace!

  • BHS (SPEBSQSA) is usually on top of illegal postings on YouTube (note the removal of all performance DVD videos). If there has been no claim to remove the video, then it doesn't really seem to be much of an issue. I appreciate your concern, but there are people that filter videos and BHS to cut illegal videos.

    Also... Great recording!

  • @sdbrev210 Although I understand the legal issues, frankly, as a multi-tracker myself, these projects (although they are hard work) are just for fun. I usually ask permission to post things, but let's be real here, if you want to spread barbershop to a young crowd (or any unfamiliar crowd), this is the most effective way of exposing it. I know cause that's how I found out, and I constantly receive messages from people proving the same. I think the pros for the BHS heavily outweigh the cons.

  • @jibcraip

As long as you aren't making money you are safe.

  • @sdbrev210 Shut up Steve. The only way you are able to hear this masterpiece is because he made it. That should be license enough.

  • @sdbrev210 Legally, this video could get taken down. But please, just shut up.

  • You have an impeccable sense of pitch! It's one thing to be able to harmonize with others, but when you are multi-tracking, you have to be dead on pitch to make it work. The other parts can't adjust to accommodate you.

  • Hey awesome job buddy! I absolutely loved your interpretation and taking it much slower in the beginning it really worked

  • Awesome! Got goosebumps on your final note, Thanks

  • Yeah, excellent JB, tu vois surement ce que je veux dire si je te dis que tu m'a fait dressé les poils de bras, comme avec Take 6...Final suuuuuuuuublime !!! Damned !

  • merci !! =D

  • Perfect!!! Its was like Gary lewis was

singing with you for the Tag!!!!!!!!!

  • Very Nice JB! Way to go! I love this song and you did it a great justice!

  • A quality performance, as I've come to expect from you. Well done!

  • awesome man!

  • Sounds great like The Real Group.

  • The Real Group ? Really ?? huhu okay thanks !! =D

  • It sounds great!

  • yes pppppppas mal

    merci !

  • Superb as always! Thanks for your post. People using autotune are trying to make their singing sound as good as yours does without pitch correction.

  • Love this....Love the beginning!! Well all the way to the end anyway....

  • Your version is awesome! I really enjoyed listening to the songs on your myspace and on your brother's, too.

    Merci. :-)

  • thanks ! I'm glad you like them ! We'll try to record some video with our duo...
