  • Excuse me but he is most definately an Australian Yellow male.. I have been breeding them for longer than I have the normal yellowback, I have a number of them some will have pencil lines on the back some do not.

Australian yellows are a much purer translucent yellow than the normal yellowback( pastel green) there are no aust. yellows in US only her in Australia.

  • He doesn't seem to be an Australian yellow but a common double factor yellow back. Try making a video showing his back cause i dont think there is any australian yellow on youtube.

  • His such a beauty I which I had one in color as strong as yours

  • Hi..................I just started a few days breeding gouldians and I would like to know if you can give me some tips on gouldians, foods, vitamins, etc

    Gouldians are so beautiful

  • Hi the best place to seek help is on Yahoogroups search for a group called GouldianNature as that is a group I started for those with gouldians.. there are others on there as well.

  • i have a yellow gouldaian

  • He is a yellow with yellow head white breast called Australian yellow gouldian only found in Australia not the same as the yellowback gouldians.

  • Why is this male not the same as a yellow back gouldian?

  • different genetic makeup, for instance a normal gould can be split to ay ( carry the gene hidden) this is not true with the yellow back, its either yellow or is not.

  • What color would you classify him as?

  • He is a yellow head white breast Australian Yellow gouldian.

  • this is a gouldian finch I breed them so I know! its a Australian yellow male gouldian thank you.

I bred him myself and he copies my whistle.

  • how do you pronounce Gouldian?

  • gool - dee - ann is the best I can do on mail.

  • Are you joking thats not a gouldian finch thats something else

  • perhaps you should read up on Gouldians as there are many mutations.

  • Very nice..

  • rare gouldian

  • adorable!!
