Amazing video. You obviously know what your doing. The only thing I can fault you for is using an impact on the axle nuts. But that may be ok to do on atv's. I subscribed and I hope to see more of your video's. I learned quite a bit from this series. So Big Thank you for making it!
I am sort of worried though that the right side ring gear bearing may be bad, the whole axle at the end on the right side has about2-3 inches of play.
Man yer a hero, I got one of these in a trade and the rear end right side bearings were bad. I was needin some help on what to do about getting the brake drum off cause it's froze on the axle, thank ye man!
i gotta do this and the differential bearings as well on my bike. wish you could do a step by step on the rebuilding the diff as well...... GREAT VIDEO!
Excellent videos, best i ve seen on this,i am getting ready to do this and i was wondering about the bearing on the gear case side,do i change this out?,thanks
@newfiedoo The bearings on the gear case side are the ring gear bearings, they normally arent so prone to go bad since they are lubed by the final drive oil.
That's a great job you did there...I sat here and watched every video you did on this job and I don't even have a 4 wheeler...but I learned something...have a great day my friend...
Thanks very much for this video series!!

What is the red air wrench that you used for the wheel nuts?
yellowbusguy 4 months ago
@yellowbusguy That is a blue point model at325c 3/8 drive. Bought it new off th' snap on truck in 1992 and it has worked flawlessly ever since.

Good job D-ray. I bet that ATV lift is worth its weight in gold when working on the axles.
