  • Great song!!!

  • excellent, the best version of this song!!!!

  • Hahaha, this is Brenda Lee , if you didn't know they both kinda sound the same..and if you listen more carefully..you can tell is Brenda. Maybe you ought to listen Brenda's songs.

  • IF THIS ISNT WAYNE THEN THIS IS VERY WEIRD...BRILLIANT VERSION ANYWAY!!

  • I would like to hear Jay-Z's take on this.

  • fabolous

  • this is wayne newton singing...definitely :)

  • I like this song. If by chance it had to be considered as a remake; who could sing the remake? Anyone have any ideas.

  • Ferris Bueller brought me here.

  • Doctor Shane

  • @wynn94

No, it isn't. You're hearing the Wayne Newton version.

He was very young when he recorded it. watch?v=YTAr6WjlWf0

  • Ferris and a Birthday singing card brought me here ;)

  • BRENDA LEE SAYS......

    SAVE FERRIS!!!

  • Her voice just reminds me of Christmas..... For obvious reasons ;).

  • Laurent Berreta incroyable talent france !

  • I'm here because of mercedes benz commercial and its an amazing song :)

  • Crime Spree brought me here !!

  • @iMikeSwiss hell yeah! great song though, by the words of the mob-boss

  • Pan Am brought me here.

  • @wizzair1313 Me too!

  • I could swear that is exactly what the Medic from Team Fortress also sings!

  • <3 love love love!

  • All i can think about is ferris bueller singing that on the parade float. Great movie about being young and having fun. Not many movies in the past 15 years can be as innocent teen movies.

  • @TheSuperduper2000 Love that film!!<3

  • sweet version.

  • Danke Schoen, darling Danke Schoen.

Thank you for all the joy and pain.

    Danke Schoen, darling Danke Schoen.

Thank you for walks down lovers lane.

I can see, hearts carved on a tree, letters inter-twined, for all time, yours and mine, that was fine.

    Danke Schoen, darling Danke Schoen.

Though we go, on our seperate ways, still the memory stays, for always, my heart says, Danke Schoen.

  • thank you for this awesome version! ^.^

    danke schoen!

  • thats soo cute hearing that when being german :D

  • Piękne czasy powojenne

  • Always wondered what that meant, til I started lernen Deutsch! Good song!

  • I love this song and im 16 :) lieblich

  • Wayne Newton has a way sexier voice and that disturbs me deeply.

  • @James42785 That's too funny...and so true. Now I'm disturbed deeply.

  • Oktobefeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeest

  • @eyepet2010 MEDIC!

  • Ooh. Ferris Bueller brought me here! :)

  • Silly americans trying to speak german, you crack me up

  • @Toinyy I'm learning german (i'm not an american, nor an english speaking native), but, the way they say "Danke schön" sounds quite weird, they're saying it bad, don't they?

  • @chuchofreeman obviously yes :D but i give them props for trying lol

  • "Danke schoen" for those songs :-)

  • P.S. i promise not to attempt a recording!! haha!

    Toot toot cheroot!

    A. Foxaque,

    Top Shelf jazz

  • It is a tremendous version, but i still plumb for Wayne Newton as his voice is an exceptional thing to hear, and it lacks the kitsch backing vocals at the end that unfortunately date this version. the Newton recording, to my mind it must be said (taste is such a divisive and subjective thing!), has a more timeless and 'panoramic' quality.

in fairness, though, it is hard (talent a given!) to record a shit version of such a well crafted romantic ballad!!

    toot toot!

  • Nah this is not the best version. wayne newton sounds enough like a woman anyway, no need for a chick to cover it.

  • I adore "litte miss dynamite". A wonderful lady.

  • Lieben Sie Brenda Lee....

  • Oh my stars the pitch is SO like Wayne's. If only she had that funny "sh" sound Newton does with his "s," ("Shentral Park in fall, how you tore your dresh, what a mesh") I would swear it was him (from the '65 or '68 album).

  • wonderful

  • Daumen hoch, wenn ihr von zalandos blog kommt :D

  • First video I saw where no one dislikes it awesome.

  • Love it!

  • this woman is amazing.

  • @TheAerosmither You're crazy!! Wayne Newton does it 1000 times better!!

  • @jimmybrown11111 well my friend have you ever hear of TASTES! and people may like different things! ... i still like Wayne's version by the way =]

    Cheers V

  • @TheAerosmither Yeah you're right. I just feel Mr. Las Vegas had an outstanding voice and really made that song swing. But Brenda Lee is one of the greats no doubt.
