If a cheetah was so inclined it could kill a human easily. Their claws and in particular their dew claw is so sharp, combined with their speed, they'd cut a human open before they knew what hit them. More people are killed by hippos than lions or Buffalos but a lion could kill a human in a heartbeat. Without a gun it's no contest. Perhaps they prefer to dump on humans given humans have shot, poisoned and trapped so many thousands of them. Payback is a bitch but it is funny as well.

@kittygirl19191 adult humans are pretty large compared to the size of prey cheetahs commonly eat... if it was a child then maybe she would risk it but not a fully grown person... in the wild: the bigger the prey = the bigger the fight it puts up... and since cheetahs are the smallest of the big cats... they don't really risk going for larger prey unless there are other cheetahs to help.. she couldn't risk getting injured by attacking an animal that was bigger than her all by herself...

Also, fun fact. They're NOT actually the smallest of the big cats. I used to think that they were a small cat, but actually cheetah's have a designation of their very own.
