When running forwards with the heavier engines on the demo line the drivers at Didcot seem to make a habit of opening the regulator as much as they dare for rapid acceleration and then shutting off halfway to let the engine coast to the end of the line. Makes for some nice speed and good sound on what is a horribly short stretch of line.

Earl Bathurst seemd to be traveling really fast on the 1st part of the run from the bottom station when I was there yesterday.
