Gretel was a fantastic host but this was a shocking interview and she was extremely rude to Michael (who is a douche, but he didn't really deserve it). While the scene may not have been edited it's obvious they only showed what they wanted and not the whole thing so of course it's still editing and Gretel really had no right to defend anyone. She did seem rather apologetic towards the end because obviously she was spoken to in the commercials.
