  • very nice set up, love it

  • sweet fish

  • Nice cod. I have the same cat fish u do. Exept mines only 2 inches long :P i allsoo have a golden perch thats only about 2 inches atm

  • was your cod always that colour? my cod is a fingerling ~7-8 cm long and it's silver/pinkish, i feed it live food is their anythign i can do to get it as livily and coloured as yours? *it just snaps its food up then goes back to hidding...

  • can u have a murray cod with a heater

  • that is a really awesome tank

  • mate. your cod is way to relaxed, did you buy him or catch him?lmao.

i cant believe those catfish are still there because both murray and trout cod are massively territorial, i think i need to get my set up going again and get another cod

  • poor silver shark it got creamed, i had 3 sharkes but they died when i whent on holiday and they were over the average length wich can be big. =[

  • Mate your videos of your Cod are awesome.

Once my Barramundi's go into my Pond I'm gonna get a Murray Cod.

  • Sweet! You have catfish!

  • dog up ya

  • well i have a 4ft X2ft X2ft

would that be big enough for a single cod? and where do u get cod fingerlings??

  • yeah that'll do for sure, ask your local aquarium about cod, most places sell them.

  • eyy nice fish. i want to get a murray cod as a pet just wondering the tempreture of the tank to keep it healthy and diet aswell as where you got your cod any infromation would help thanks to help get me started to get a cod.

eyy and how bigs your tank and what sort of filters and heaters you using????

  • Thanks mate, just room temperature is fine, anywhere from 18 to 28, I feed him nothing but live foods (gold fish, yabbies). Most aquariums sell cod but you will need a big tank, mine is 6ft X 2ft X 2ft. Any filter will do i have a sump trickle filter, its just easier to clean, and you won't need heaters unless you live in Antarctica.

  • Thanks pal, yeah the cod is about 450mm long, he doesn't seem to be growing much longer, just fatter, but I'm sure he will. I'm also looking at getting some spangled perch, I'll post some vids when I do.

  • You have a awsome structured tank man. Great light contrasts in with the dark, and your murray cod is extremely lively. having those tandanus catties in there with him would help to keep him lively also. how big is the cod? have you ever considered any other types of native fish?
