Reruns from this era are a refuge for those yearning for the days of decorum, civility and class! Kids could play alone and talk to strangers then and didn’t have or need passwords! The commercials are louder because thats when people get up and go to the bathroom or kitchen and they know this,so

they make the volume go up so you can hear it while youre away. I hate it but what can you do but mute it like I do.

I think Leave it to Beaver was off the air by the time Bewitched began in 1964. So there had to be a significant age difference between Jerry and Jimmy. I think "Beaver" was in his teens before the show ended.
