What was the original myth for this? It says something about WWII, but I don't know this episode.

The myth was that during WWII, someone jumped out of a fragged plane without a parachute, and a 500lbs bomb went off under him just before he hit ground. The shockwave supposedly slowed him down and allowed him to survive the drop.

I thought that the cement truck was the biggest explosion. I think though that this is the mother of them all (now anyway). At one point it was the cement truck. I like this but the cement truck was much cooler to watch. But thats just me.

Because it was a 1000 pund bomb. A bomb that big will send shockwaves long way! And it travels about the speed of sound, so it isnt so hard to guess when its coming.
