  • DS2個を同期させるなんて、誰にでもできることじゃないと思います。スゴスギ。

  • Someone thinks he cheated by using 2 DS's. Some people are very hard to please. This is a very sophisticated piece of work.

  • -saliva falls from mouth-

  • check out GAMETAG for all your games. Best thing for travelling watch our youtube GAMETAG - Nintendo DS - No More Loose & Lost DS Games - Loyalty Card Organise

  • AMAZING job on this!

  • wow that's great...i liked the lead, could you tell me how to do it?

  • This song remind me final fantasy 7, what amazing soundtrack!! Very good job man!!! Nice composition!!

  • @longdivision87

Really? Which song in Final Fantasy VII does it remind you of?

  • @longdivision87 He didn't compose it, Yellow Magic Orchestra did. 30 years ago. He did a nice job arranging it, though, even if he cheated by using two DS's.

  • @ZenPunk Thanks, now I know it my life will never be the same as before. Kidding :) , greetings and thanks for the info! :)

  • Great job! I was surprised!!!

    This sound is so great.

I love YMO and this movie!!

  • great job on this.

  • I actually like this. A. LOT.

    HELL YEAHHHHHH.

  • So like the original< great job !!

  • Wow! Extremely well done. That lead sound is spot on!

  • Great Performance!! I love YMO,too.

  • That's a very nice rendition of this C64 classic!. Nice way of linking more than 16 patterns by the way. Of course, that requires some more hardware but that's got to be the price to pay for such a nice tune!

  • @Slowpode

Actually, this is a cover of the original 1979 version of "Rydeen" by YMO (Yellow Magic Orchestra). The later C64 version was an 8-bit cover of "Rydeen".

  • I'm going to buy the Korg 10 Plus version and a Nintendo DSI XL as soon as it comes out on March 28. Pretty neat.

  • This is awesome.

  • OMG! This is another level!

    Congrats! :D

  • すごいな~~。 よくできました! (^_^)

  • Man you rocked the DS 10 hard. I want to get a DSi so I can use the new on Plus version.

  • ちょーすげえ

  • brilliant!

  • you pimp!!

  • The DS-10 has "only" a 16-step sequencer so how could he ever play such a long melody on the left NDS and never touch the damn thing in the meanwhile ?

At 0:22 the sound even changes and a new melody is played, and again, no button is touched !

  • @keybern: do you own DS-10? If so, you know that you can program the sequences to be played in a certain order. without touching the nds once...

  • He is using performance mode, which allows you to load up up to 16 patterns of those 16 step sequences you mentioned. Then those 16 patterns can be plotted out on another step sequencer to make up the time of your song. Or you can manually click each pattern and play the song that way

  • thx for the exhaustive information. Never knew there was something like "performance mode".

  • Yeah no problem! I'm really an advocate of the DS-10. I think its awesome and for $30.00 in some cases in the states you can't get a better music instrument (assuming you own a DS)

  • cool!

  • I LUV U

  • Hey great video, mind telling me the bassline for this song please. Thanks

  • 1:03 sounds like an old snes game that i use to play, i forgot what it's called

  • It is saying only with DS-10 so much why terrible. Perhaps, I do not think reaching at your level yet though I have been playing RYDEEN since Nippon Budoukan of the long tract of years and 1980.

  • Great stuff there. Never actually seen a Korg DS 10 cart in an actual shop.

  • AYOYE!!! YMO... :-)

  • Insanely awesome.

  • 1:15のピコーンピコーンという音のタイミング間違ってないですか?

    確か2回目は1小節?遅らせて鳴らしていたと思うのですが。

    違っていたらすみません。

  • How did you get more than 2 synth lines in the beginning? One DS was playing a song while the other was loading.

  • The DS-10 actually has 6 synth. The "drum" channels, if you dig deeper, are just more copies of the MS-10 synths like the first two channels, and have almost all the same capability, including being able to sequence different notes. They have some limitations, but also some benefits. MS-10 -- more powerful than you think at first!

  • treschlet, Thanks for your explanation. I didn't understand the meening "2 synth lines".

I have original MS-10 synth that is not so powerful, but TRUE analog.

  • awesome! I just got a hold of an ARP 2600. Needs some repair work... can't wait until I get it up and running :D

  • GREAT! ARP 2600 is a GREAT machine! I'd like to own new/old synthesizeres too.

  • yellow magic orchestra?

  • sounds great

  • Epic.

  • Jesus! This is perfect!

  • It's really close to the original and retains that popping "realtime chiptune" quality.

Congratulations, this sounds like a masterpiece to me.

  • 100% korg?

  • You have good taste.

  • Holy Deities! And I thought Electroplankton was a cool app!

    Gotsta gotsta get!!!!!!!!!!

  • hey, thats wonderful.!

  • top notch

  • can i download this song? its so amazing man! 6/5 :)

  • Did you try the download button of this video? I don't know about other ways(sorry).

  • I dont have a download button that i can see :<

  • install real player and the download button appear on IE (Internet Explorer) :)

  • wow, great sounds... old school!

  • this is amazinggg!!! such great patches

  • Thanks for the Upload!

  • The instruments are quite accurate...It's too bad there isn't an SPC-700 tracker, I'd like to see the Super Nintendo do this song as accurate as the chip allows with no help from the main CPU.

  • i kno it wasnt tht ive seen the korg in real life several occasions

  • were do those plugs go to? plz reply

  • not so special, very simple.

    DS -> mixing cable -> Audio I/F(Roland UA-1EX) ->PC

    I didn't use effects processors (hardware/software).

  • Nice work, I'm glad that someone else is trying to use their DS-10 for melodic songs and not just repetitive patterns. Really good tones too.

  • This is one of my favourite YMO songs, you did a really good job.

I'm going to have to try and do some of my own covers on my DS-10 now, cheers!

  • DSでこんなリアルな音が出るんですか・・・!?(絶句)

  • superb!!!!!!!!!!got this for my ds,not as good as you though..

  • Fantastic job, it must have taken forever to program all that! Very good tones which are close to the original. Multi-program play even, nice work.
