Kristi was definitely the best hands down, but I think Nicole was the best for her season so its all good. The best dancer should win everyone season thats the only fair thing.

I totally agree with those who have said that Kristi is the best that DWTS has ever had. Sure, maybe Nicole is the best dancer they've ever had, but Kristi mastered BALLROOM dancing better than anyone ever has and that is what the show is all about. She really looks like a pro dancer!

NicoleS was so not the best dancer this show has ever had. Those judges have forgotten how good Kristi was, she was the best dancer in the history of the show. She was as good; and sometimes better; than the pros.

@ljss123 Agreed. Not sure why any of the judges would say that about Nicole. Sure, she can dance, but not nearly as well as Kristi. Kristi performed at a professional level consistently throughout her season and still holds the highest judge's scores average at 28.3. Nicole is currently at 25.9. I'm sure they probably want to motivate the newer contestants since Kristi was on 4 season ago, but that was still a pretty silly comment.

Cristian and Cheryl were great. Jason was a bit stiff, but that's because he's more of a ballroom dancer. Latin is just not his forte. As for Kristi and Mark... sorry, guys, but they totally stole the show. She deserved to win. It seems like Season 6 was a very fair and predictable season. Everyone stayed only as long as they deserved to stay. I admit Marissa probably stayed a little too long, but I was very much to blame for that. I loved her to pieces, and voted for her like crazy.

Wow, it seems the best celebrity dancers are the Olympic winners lol. Kristi is amazing and Mark is an incredible teacher. Julianne used to be my favorite, but now I think it's Mark. By far the best DWTS couple---they're consistent, have great chemistry and they're just so much fun to watch. The room came alive when they came on--and it wasn't just because of the lights.

And does anyone else think Kristi is gorgeous?? She's 38 years old and she looks 10 years younger! Her husband is very lucky

Kristi Yamaguchi is unreal. She is the epitome of a winner. Somebody needs to bottle whatever it is she has and sell it. But really I think it comes down to hard work and character. Plus she seems really sweet too.

What I like about Mark's choreography, is that he usually choreographs for himself at the same level that he does for his partner. He doesn't just throw a few cool moves in for them and then show off himself. Kristi and Mark looked like they were dancing at the same level. I've only ever seen that with him and Sabrina and Tony and Stacy.

Totally agree - the cha cha dance of was riveting and fun to watch. I always thought the samba was a very difficult dance. Anyway, I can never tire of watching Mark and Kristi dance.

I agree the Cha Cha Off was much better I just think they picked Samba to be different they should have picked Mambo it is easier, but Brooke and Derek did great like Kristi and Mark did with the cha cha!

Far superior to this year's Samba Smackdown, from music to choreography to execution. :) I don't know why they picked the samba to being with, when the judges have commented from season to season that it is one of the hardest dances to master.

Somebody asked Kristi about the kiss in an interview. She hadn't planned on flirting, but just as they were about to go on, Mark said, "Why don't you give Bruno a kiss?" She asked "Am I allowed to do that?" She meant to kiss his cheek, but he turned his head in surprise and they went nose-to-nose instead. Lucky for her, Bruno oddly doesn't seem to mind when an attractive female celebrity like her flirts with him! Hard to believe, huh? ;)

i only happened to watch this show because of mark and kristie. i chanced to see their paso doble which was great and i began watching season 6 because of them.

it did not interest me to watch this show at all in the past because it seems that all the stars except for some atheletes are always on the D-list. for example, who wants to see george hamilton dance??
