  • the 1986-1993 Buick Rivera is my favorite generation of Rivera classy exterior and a very plush interior....the 95-99 Rivera has very distinctive styling on the outside but the interior is very boring.

  • @form109 Agreed! If they only combined the 2 versions.. Imagine the possibilities! Thanks for commenting!

  • got mine to 110mph with low oil n shity gas runing like shit

  • @sk8man420 The biggest problem is where I live... I would have went faster. But, the cops around here are sticklers about speed. I did get her up past 120 at one time. Let me tell ya.. Smooth as silk! Thanks for commenting!

  • i have a 1992 riviera and i get 0-60 in like 9 seconds

  • @69Judge400 Im sure of it. As stated before in a previous reply to another comment, The car was having some fuel delivery problems and wasnt running up to par. I liked the car and it was reliable right up until I went to sell it.

  • They are awesome cars. I have a 1990 Toronado and I LOVE it. Those pre-series 1 3800's didn't have high HP numbers but man they def have some good torque. Tire squealing is no problem and if you floor it, it def moves.

  • @focusonthegreen Yeah they are great cars!

  • Not bad, not good. What motor came in these? Specs?

  • Yeah, there was a minor problem with the fuel delivery system in it at that time. So, it was a little doggy at times. The engine is a 3800 3.8 liter V-6. It is rated at an estimated 200 hp and 225 lb ft of torque. Im fairly sure that I may be wrong on this and am sure that someone will correct me on this.

  • @97bonneville The specs you quote sound like they are of the late '90s 3800, your Riviera's 3800 (Probably Series I, NA of course) was rated at 165 hp and 220 ft lbs of tq (Impressive, especially given the HP rating - but 3800s have always been this way, with more tq than HP). Does that odo say 187k or 107k? Either way, keep on rollin' - I like the looks of a clean early 90's Riviera and I don't see enough on the road!

  • @Shintsu2 You are probably right. I did estimate though. Anyways, this car's odo says 187k. When I sold the car is was at 196k. The guy I sold it to was gonna completely restore it to its showroom condition. As far as I have heard, he is almost done.

  • @97bonneville Thats cool, like I said I hardly see this generation Riviera on the road. I kinda like their looks, even if some would say they're dated I still think they look nice. Wonder if the guy restoring it is going over it all and doing like a vintage car rebuild from the frame up or just a modern car restore replacing the motor, tranny, interior bits, etc. The prior would be nice to see on a car like this, maybe even swap something a little more lofty like a 3800 supercharged in it heh!

  • @97bonneville in 1990 the 3800 only had 165 hp. the series 2 had 200

  • digital gages LOL I bet they will bring that back one day.

  • LOL! Probably not.. At least not in a cool car!! Now, Im not saying my car is the coolest!

  • well not in green lol but some type of cool futuristic design

  • True. That is all early 90s!! LMAO

  • These are nice looking cars.

  • Thanks for the comment. I have another video of this particular car that shows the exterior. I do believe it is the video of my new Thrush exhaust. Thanks again for the comments!

  • hahah funny story bout these cars. my mom used to have a 92 then we sold it to get the aurora(best idea ever) and my dad has an 89 and has had it since 95 and he thought that he could beat my moms aurora in a drag race but i thought he was joking but we were driving both vehicles to eat one time and we were in front of him on the highway then hit a stop light he pulls up beside us and yelled im gonna win so he took off mom wasnt ready we floored the aurora and we were to 60 before he was 40

  • Yeah, like I said in the description.. This isnt the fastest car in the world.. I have however, driven an Aurora before and I agree, They are pretty peppy! I wouldnt mind getting an Aurora one of these days. Thanks for watching!!
