I want to speak to him in both Nepali & English. If there is anyone in NY who could teach me Nepali in person I would be very grateful.

  • @lovezadicition

hi, so what does this mean in English? PLZ I NEED YOUR HELP

    malai maf garduai la

M**** maila bhol gara ki timi justo keti lai maya gara malai really pachatap gardai chu mo really ganda keta cho timi tara ramro honula

  • @lovezadicition

this one too, i want to know what it says. Wish i can understand it. So plz help

R***** plz malai choda timro *****sanga ramro life bitaou mero gindagyma thakhale dina band gara plz ma dil navako manche ho timi aafno life ma happy basnu la mero man dukhaouna chodo plz ma mareid k ti ho plz leav me...plz jub timilai yeti dherai maya grne kti cha ta kina aaru ko pichadi jancha timi 2 jana ko life dekhi malai k hi lena dena chaina la mero life ma interfer grna band kero plz

  • @lovezadicition i have a friend here in the USA and he's Nepali, its so awsome how unique ur language is compare to japanese

  • @bmama4 i know a bit of japanese as well. i found japanese language very similar to nepalese, but the kanji part.

  • @lovezadicition Why is this funny to you? Isn't there a language that you don't understand? Everyone sounds like a moron when they first start a new language.

  • @lovezadicition yes still today tamang can speak their own language and so can rais and limbus. kirati language and other documents like treaty, religious script were destroyed by rana govt. but today kirati language have been formalized and it is matter of time before it is available in the market for learning. so i urge all kiratis like tamang, magar, gurung, sherpas, newars, chhantyal beside rai, limbu, sunuwar and yakkha to learn kirati bhasa. it's time for all kiratas to unify.

  • MAN THIS WA SGREAT! kEEP IT COMMING!

  • Aaja means "Today".

  • Hi, I find this video very helpful, specially for non speaking people who like to travel to Nepal and would like to learn some basics of the language. I think commenting negatively does not help or make any sense. I have passed this link to other friends and they are greatful. So keep your good deeds my friend.

  • why is ther so many idnian people in nepal?? ok so the indians are immigrants. but which people are actaully native to that land??

btw funny how they say namaste. cuz in the tv show lost, the darma initiative always say namaste lol

  • the people that are native to the land are "nepalese"

  • your an idiot.. nepalese are jsut anybody who is a citizen to the country,, im asking who are the people who are from the nepal area, and ancestors did not migrate from india or tibet

  • your an idiot the native peole are called nepalese there is no other way to descrie them. it is an ethnicity and a nationality. your question was stupid to begin with.

  • nope yer wrong again dipshit.. nepalese are just the nationality u dumbfuck.. thers many ethnicities in nepal.. thers indians who migrated from india. ther kirat who are native to katmandhu area, thers tibetans who migated from tibet..

yeah ther all nepal citizens but ther different ethnicities. .some of them nepa is ther real hoemland.. some of them are immigrants

so yeah your a dumbass stop making yerself look retarded. go reak a book kid

  • haha i like your passion. i understand there is more than one ethnicity in nepal but what i am trying to say is native nepalese people all migrated at some point even the kirat but all these races since nepal has been around for a while have become a distinct ethnicity or you could call them all immigrants. and nice wikipedia search budy

  • i dont get all my info from wikipedia.. i met one nepalese lady in cambodia and also my ex gf went to an international schhool in nepal for liek 5 years..

so yeah technically ther all immigrants.. but soem have been lviing ther for thosuands of years.. some are more recent immigrants. so which r u/

  • im just a dumb 16 year old kid from america whos down for nepal

  • ahah go learn more before u commet then

  • I can't wait to ask my husband if he wants coffee tomorrow morning. He is from Nepal and I am just learning Nepali. There needs to be more time to repeat what you are saying to work on pronunciation. I guess I will have to hit pause and rewind for now and I am going to look for more lessons. Thanks!

  • his english is just fine and understandable

  • i don't think so it just a crap and shameful to Nepali like us people give us stereotype because people like them u know

  • jinsherpa???

    wat da hell..

    appriciate his work man..

    whats wrong with his english

there is a thing called "accent"

    every1 has different accent

  • Why is this a sterotype? His English is fine. He has an accent and he is working really hard for us, what is the matter with that?

  • This is a great series, you expand on a resource that isn't very easy to get good sources on.

    Excellent material.

I really need to learn nepali to help out some bhutanese refugees that have come. So DHANYABAAD! (see? I'm already learning) =]

  • thank you so much for these videos. I am trying to learn some Nepali for a trip Nepal next year. Is there anyway you could send these videos to me so that i don't have to be on the internet to use them?

  • For this, all you need to do is download RealPlayer 11 from Reals website.

Once you have the real player installed and you watch any videos online, u'll see a button over the video saying Download This Video. Click the button to save the video in ur RealPlayer Download Library. U can view downloads from Downloads & Recordings Under My Library.

  • Thank you so much for this video! It is very helpful in learning the language

  • go slower and say it more clearly.

  • This is great! By the way, how similar is Nepali to Hindi... I think it is close, if not, how? Thank you

  • Its really a greate help for me.Learning nepali language is quite difficult if your doing it by reading but learning from this type of video instruction can make speaking the laguage easier.I can talk to my friends using there own words.

  • Wow! It it is so much fun to learn Nepali with these videos... It´s much easier to learn when u also can hear the sentences! 5*

  • EXCELLENT!!!!!

  • Thank you so much for putting these videos up. I think Nepali is a beautiful language and I am so happy to learn it.

  • Yeah, what ushered me to include devanagari script actually comes from my short experience while learning nihongo. For 'This is a book', I would first memorize 'Kore wa hon desu'. After that, I would then learn how to write it in hiragana, then how to insert 'hon' in Kanji...and so on so forth.

As you also mentioned, devanagari script is essential if one wants to both speak and read/write Nepali. Some of the beginners out here also might wanna do that at some stage, eh?

  • Thank you so much for putting these lessons online. I appreciate that you also write in Devanagari script! I think it is important to learn how to read as well as speak.

  • good try !!! 5 star !!

    panch otta tara !!

  • Thanks from Ireland. I'm visiting my daughter next Summer. She speaks Nepali. I hope to learn some.
