  • my vote go,s to you ron paul you are a true man.

  • wow! this video was put up in 2009! it's still relevant. i hope ron paul still gets his message across once the republicans are back in power. while it's true that he's blaming both sides all the neo-cons will stop thinking for themselves and get back in line once the next republican takes the white house. it happened when clinton left office and we're still feeling he pain. sadly, i think the tea party will fart out once obama's time is up.

  • @dogfight156 Actually i think this was before 2006. The video was uploaded on to youtube in 09'

  • Put it this way, IF Ron doesn't get elected president of the US we are up shits creek without a fuckin paddle.......hold on tight.

  • Excellent.

  • W DEAL instead of for the ZERO DEAL!!!

  • Ron Paul, i HAVE to agree with you. Unfortunately, thanks to the bullsh*t media we have deceiving millions everyday, i dont see much hope in getting you elected.

Bush n Obama looked SOOOOO good when they were campaigning, right?? Hope & change, "yes we can" crap, & Both of them turned out to be the worst things to happen to us, especially Obama. All because they TRICKED us. i hope nobody trusts the media. nobody believe a thing you hear from those goddamned pundits!! keep researching for the NE

  • He has my vote for 2012

All must post this on your facebook page asap. It is needed even more now.

  • He has my vote for 2012

  • So he would rather gamble with a insane dictatorship like Saddam Husseins that might nuke Israel and kill millions of people?i would vote for a republican guy.

  • Hell there are even limits to the use of brute military force. Military force must first be checked by the people- aka, for every gun that the military has, the people ought have 2 more pointing in its direction. But there are also strict limits to the ability to sustain or even maintain military force. Thats how ALL great empires have fallen- through the warfare, welfare state. go look @ rome, ussr, mugabe&zimbabwe, yugoslavia and on and on.

  • @swu880 this is why I oppose the national firearms act of 1934 and the gun control act of 1986.

  • A gun in the hands of every man & woman guarantees a secure vote & check on govt power.

  • The jews DISARMED themselves though the military grew exponentially UNCHECKED! then a while later, the nazis began to infringe on the rights of jews, dissenters & those "disliked" by the nazi regime. And what did the jews do? o thats right, they just cried & disarmed themselves- was their any revolt? no! they handed their own guns over- gave up their right to life. So much for a "military". A military is useless unless u are using it to conquer/control

  • Do search on Constitutional Party. We NEED Ron Paul.

  • PAUSE IT AT 15 SECONDS, THOSE TWO GOLDEN STATUES IN THE BACK ARE BUNDLES OF STICKS WITH AN AXE!!!! THAT SYMBOL REPRESENTS FASCISM!!!!! WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT DOING THERE?!?!?!

  • The jews loved to disarm themselves, then were raped by the nazis- aint that lovely?

  • @swu880

We have the biggest military in the world by ten times the next nation. What's your point.

  • @aironeous

I aint talkin about the military. im talkin about the individual. who really cares about the military? so what if the GOVERNMENT has a ton of nukes & bombs? What is to protect the individual citizen from those bombs from being used on him? it is his own gun- his own vote for the right to life, liberty & his own personal property

  • @swu880 When we lose our arms, we lose our tongues.

  • 5:24 - This is the exact problem today in the UK. The Government has started its first set of cuts to child benefits for wealthy parents earning £88,000 ($139.000). These parents with very high income have been complaining all week about not being able to afford to live without the child benefits.

Wherever you make cuts there will always be someone who is against those cuts but wants cuts which effect other people.

  • If I could vote for this guy I would....

  • @swu880

Excellent quote! However, I fear things have dramatically changed since Franklin's day.

  • @TenaciousxPunk

you are right, sadly people have forfeited their own freedoms & responsibilities and let the govt run amok with tyrannical power. Thats just about all the real difference between now & 1776

  • unfortunately because of how the system goes a guy who knows what hes talking about will never have power. power only goes to cold hearted decievers.

  • Get rid of government.

  • Right now, the american people are being poisoned in the same fasion as the the concentration camps. Sodium floiride is the active ingredient in rat poison. There is a warning on your toothpaste to call poison control if it is swallowed. The government puts it in the water supply. Look it up. Also look up the dangers of high frutcose corn syrup.

Research the Georgia Guidestone, the Builderburger group, and the New World Order. The UN is the HQ for the NWO.

  • "The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." ThomasJefferson

"Over grown military establishments are under any form of government inauspicious to liberty, and are to be regarded as particularly hostile to republican liberty." George Washington

"If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy." James Madison

  • Let's see, after 9-11 (which was blamed on terrorists) the US government declares a "war on terror", and a list of countries are named as the "axis of evil". Congress passes the PATRIOT act which allows for unwarrented search and seizures, a violation of the US Constitution. America invades Iraq and Afghanastan. DHS sets up checkpoints in the US and Infraguard is established for the FBI so the people can spy on their neighbors in the name of "fighting terror".

  • The system we have rewards those who make back room deals with big business. Polititions are paid off by lobbyists to pass laws to benefit these corperations. The corperations and government have been slowly merging into one entity, the very definition of fascism.

History repeats itself. Hitler tourched his parlament and blamed terrorists, he then got emergency dictator power to fight these "terrorists" and invaded soverign nations. Does this sound familiar?

  • a resource based economy - lets do it

  • --- Dr. Ron PAul - he is one strong man , His talk will not get him very far , Criminals he is dealing with every day , may have a Plan for him , He may die on a fishing trip , or he may be struck with a car . IF he becomes danger to the ruling ellite ... There is no doubt about it.

  • Its not the lack or over restricted markets that fucked up its the people we allowed to set up what restrictions to keep, replace, and make anew

  • "Who will govern the governors? There is only one force in the nation that can be depended upon to keep the government pure and the governors honest, and that is the people themselves. They alone, if well informed, are capable of preventing the corruption of power, and of restoring the nation to its rightful course if it should go astray. They alone are the safest depository of the ultimate powers of government" Thomas Jefferson

  • Gang violence is the result of drug prohibition. Alcohol prohibition caused the same violence in the '20s. The violence is over territories, and if these dealers were allowed to use the court system to settle disputes, the gang violence will smolder and eventually die. The alcohol, tobacco, and big pharm lobby spends billions to prevent competition. You never hear of gang violence in Amsterdam where drugs are legal. Banning drugs forced them into the black market.

  • The guns are a problem??? They are only a problem if the government has a monopoly on gun ownership. The best natural defence of a country is the people trained in the use of firearms. Japan didn't invade the US in WWII because of the our citizens owning guns. Guns don't only prevent other countries from invading, they also prevent the government from genocide. Most mass killings are by governments, not the citizens. Mao is in the Guiness book for genocide, and liberals love the evil bastard.

  • Who are really pushing us into the dark ages is the liberals, progressives, and big government advocates in Washington DC and the UN. They are an oligarchy bent on reducing the 7 billion world population to 1/2 million. We have the technology and resources to feed the world and prop up the third world, but those with the money won't because they use it to produce their products cheeper there than in the civilized world. Basically, they want slaves for their corperations.

  • There may be many aspects that are over regulated by the government.

But Ron Pauls theories are FAR worse.

(BTW guns are no protection at all from the the US army. Its very hard to define the meaning "right to bear arms" - maybe everyone should be building nuclear weapons at home?)

  • @toknow07 The People should be stronger than the military! plain & simple

There are 3 groups of persons. There is the Government personnel, the Criminals & the People. Now, criminals regardless if legal or illegal will almost always arm themselves. And so does government. BUT those so called 'gun control' laws dont affect criminals nor government- they effect YOU! You want to weaken yourself like a pathetic lamb?

  • @swu880

Criminals & government dont attack you cuz ur strong, smart & well armed. They attack you because you are weak, naive, stupid & ignorant! That is the rule of tyrants- how the hell did you think tyrants get so much power? cuz fools like YOU give it to them

Gun control promotes genocide & mass murder- if you want to protect yourself, be strong, be very well armed & be smart- don't buy any bull especially when it involves weakening yourself or infringing rights

  • @swu880 watch Innocents betrayed- may have to google it. After watching it & knowing the dangers of the misleading term "gun control", if you still support laws which forcibly weaken you as a citizen, then when you get raped & attacked by tyrants or criminals, don't expect any protection from anyone else. I'll just be laughing at your foolishness

  • @swu880

You are your FIRST, second, third, fourth,fifth...and LAST line of defense. So if u urself choose not to strengthen & arm urself & protect urself, why the hell should anyone else give a damn? Making yourself weak, naive & stupid makes you the target for bullies- so enjoy getting bullied

  • @swu880 How will a GUN protect you from the US NAVY?

  • @toknow07 first go and watch "Innocents Betrayed"- that details the scam of so called gun control laws

People should be much better armed than the military. This is called distribution of power among the masses. u keep power in check to prevent unduly corrupt concentrations of power. Being better armed than military is the ONLY protection against possible tyranny & criminals. Tyrants & criminals don't fear the weak sheep- they fear the well armed & well informed masses

  • @swu880

Bullies LOVE naive idiots who are willfully or ignorantly weak & stupid! Tyrants love to abuse them, criminals love to rape them

Who the hell is gonna protect u from tyrants & criminals? Other Tyrants & Criminals? or yourself? If u want to be a weak ass sheep, expect to get slaughtered like one. cops 99% of the time cant respond to any vandalism, attack or crime immediately. if lucky ur so called 'protection' may be on the corner by the donut shop half asleep

  • @swu880

But you should also realize- cops can quite easily become far worse than criminals. Cops & officials can easily become TYRANTS! You can find sooo many cases of cops using excessive brute force, arresting innocents, maligning innocents, even murdering innocents! Who watches these officials? who keeps them in check? who protects you from these tyrants?

There is no greater security than oneself

  • @swu880 In large Cities there are hundreds thousands people who will shoot if they had a gun, but won't go out of their way to get it.

NYC which only has about 300 fatal crimes each year - would have tens of thousands crimes if every drugge teenager would have access to a gun

  • @toknow07

hey, im fine if u want to stay like a weak naive ignorant stupid little sheep. go right ahead. But if u want to stay weak & stupid, don't expect anyone to give a crap when criminals & tyrants start to rape u. Being weak only paints a huge target for these. Do u think those criminals & tyrants fear a weak dumbass? or do u think they fear the strong masses of inteligent strong & well armed citizens? ur choice but if u choose to be weak & vulnerable, expect to get attacked & raped

  • @swu880

The whole point of arming urself is to protect urself- it totally redistributes power so that criminals & tyrants can't monopolize power. Do u think criminals & tyrants fear a helpless sheep who wets his pants & cries like a baby? or do u think they fear hundreds of strong intelligent well armed men w/ an AR-15?

  • @swu880 btw gun bans don't effect the criminal nor tyrants- they only effect u. Most guns used by 'criminals' are actually purchased through the black market.

"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch; Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote"- Ben Franklin

  • @swu880 Let him be Swu. Those who don't understand the validity of personal empowerment have fallen beyond to point of no return. Let those who are armed contest the vote. Big government will yield to Big Citizenry. So when the day comes, you and I and all the others who have prepared themselves to vote with true power will take to the streets to contest the tyranny that we call government.

  • @DirectInjected

    I concur

Its quite sad how all these lunatics who don't even have the fundamental understanding of liberty & property yet they are considered "citizens". lol they aint citizens, they are sheeple & fools

  • I agree with so much that the good doctor says, but he loses me at the end.

    "we over-spent." agreed.

"we over-taxed." the middle and lower class, yes.

    "we over-regulated." I just don't see this.

Isn't the LACK of regulation why wall st. banksters are able to bet all their companys' money on high risk leveraging schemes, and then get bailed out courtesy of the taxpayers after all the money is gambled away?!

Am I right or am I wrong?

  • Well its a bit more complicated. The lack of regulation is mostly seen when does toxic mortgage backed securities were sold to investors. However, where Dr. Paul is correct is that it was the federal government in the 90's via the CRA that pressured banks to give out high risk loans to families with bad credit. Everyone is quick to blame wall street, bad no one wants to acknowledge the government's role is the current crisis. The contributed to this mess and now claim to know how to fix it.

  • Wrong. It is the over-regulations that caused banks to create loans to people they normally wouldn't (Community Reinvestment Act). Those loans went bad and here we are today.

  • Wrong? Yeah, right . . .

Oh, so banks had nothing to do with the creation and pushing of "liar's loans?"

Like the tango, it takes 2 to lie. one to tell it, and one to hear it because that's what they want to hear and then not verify the facts.

The CRA may have been part of the problem at FM and FM, but it doesn't add up to the TRILLIONS that banks have "lost" resulting in their insolvency and welfare for the rich courtesy of free-spending politicians using taxpayer money.

  • Ratings agencies? no problem there either, huh?

Wamu was giving out loans to landscapers that said they were making 6 figures! Why? Because they didn't have to hold the bag! They sold it all on to unsuspecting investors after packing it up with other bogus loans and getting a AAA rating. Then they counted the money.

I may not know finance as well as Michelle Bachmann, but this sounds like a lack of common-sense regulation / consumer protection to me.

  • The lack of an a logical definition of fraud written into enforcable law is what is missing.

  • Wow . . . that makes sense. And it's simple, too. Which is why it may never be done because banks can't profit off of simplicity! They want needlessly complex scams to be able to con money out of people and technically be within some loophole they were able to find in existing regulation and law.

  • Exactly. Ron Paul wants to deregulate our markets, but also wants to create a clear definition of fraud and enforce it. Deregulation was a factor in the wall street problem, but there was tons of fraud and bad practices that were going on that came out of this deregulation that should have been stopped.

  • No wall street isnt over regulated, WE are. Look at the new cybersecutiry act, look at the patriot act, look at the stimulus bill, the government is regulating out lives

  • @miticone6 You're right. That's why this country is and has been going into the gutter because the politics of this country is controlled by special interests groups with lots of money and politicians always need money for financing their campaigns. Personally, I feel campaign contributions should be eliminated. A politician who serves without the strings attached to him through campaign contributions is one step closer to political integrity ad righteousness.

  • Allways makes me feel better when I see people with functioning brains. Ron's got my vote in 2012..

  • @dustin8420 You are so right about this. Why isn't he running this country along with Peter Schiff..

  • @dustin8420 Your vote won mean anything in any presidential election :)

  • @dustin8420 Your vote wont mean anything in any presidential election :)

  • @slfviirus Neither will anyone's if you tell individuals that. Votes are controlled by the Fed anyway.

  • " Those who sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither, and lose both "

    - Benjamin Franklin -

" WHEN THE POWER OF LOVE OVERCOMES THE LOVE FOR POWER, THATS WHEN THIS WORLD WILL KNOW PEACE"

  • " Those who sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither, and lose both "

    - Benjamin Franklin -

  • This is the most sane speech I've heard on the economy in a long while. Thanks, Ron Paul!
