Hell there are even limits to the use of brute military force. Well its a bit more complicated. The lack of regulation is mostly seen when does toxic mortgage backed securities were sold to investors. However, where Dr. Paul is correct is that it was the federal government in the 90's via the CRA that pressured banks to give out high risk loans to families with bad credit. Everyone is quick to blame wall street, bad no one wants to acknowledge the government's role is the current crisis. The contributed to this mess and now claim to know how to fix it.
