Nice footage... you forgot to point out that they are killing and displacing many of our native song bird species which depend on cavity nest boxes like this one. They will rear several broods in a season. Often killing off native Blue Birds and Tree Swallows among other cavity nesting species. Nicely constructed bird box by the way.
HTCSWEOD, you are probably talking about house sparrows.
We humans are killing and displacing a lot more hapless creatures - native birds included - then house sparrows ever will.
